We painted white over the worst walls when we moved into our building in 2008 and have done nothing since. We just resigned our lease for another 5 years. If we want to paint that is fine by the landlord but it comes out of our pocket. Right now all the walls are a yellow/white shade of paint and I feel like I'm sitting in a dungeon. It doesn't help that we have lots of weird half walls and dark walnut trim/doors. Building was built in the 60s and you can tell they added rooms over the years.
I have some light gray paint leftover from painting my living room that would cover the one wall in my office and thinking of painting it on a day off.
Mine is yellow. My boss picked the color for his office and it was one of those rare yellows that actually look OK. So since my office is right next to his, and is kind of a pass through (he has 2 entrances), I decided to choose the same color. Sounds like that color won’t look good for you though because if all the brown.
Our entire campus is beige. Lots of wood tones. Brown tile. It’s boring as can be. We do have great art, though. Like we loan art to museums all over the world.
We have a pale grey everywhere with accent walls and decor in orange, lime green, blue, and hot pink. It's an open floor plan so very bright. I love it!

I had a client whose office was all decked out in hot pink. It was mostly men, which I found amusing.
Our office is very old school. Think 1990's "charm." Somewhat dungeon like. With random pops of earthy orange and wine/purple. It's.. something.
I mean, I talk trash about it, but I'm sad we're leaving it all behind.
Mine is white/light grey, and our cubes are a light wood color. We also look out onto the underside of a modern zigzag roof that is painted bright yellow. Ceiling is also open with ductwork, so there is a lot of stuff going on. Honestly, anything too contrasting would be weird, the white works with all of the windows and busy roofline/ceiling.
