I wash certain parts with a washcloth and certain parts with a loofah. Washcloths are much better for scrubbing, exfoliating and getting things clean. Loofah is more sudsy and for the experience.

Same. Washcloth most definitely on my face/neck and if I'm particularly dirty.
I've decided to give up the loofah and bottled products in an effort to consume less plastic, and I now have bar soap, which I run over certain parts and lather in my hands for others. Sometimes wash cloths. Wash cloths for my face specifically.

Wash cloth always. I don't think I get clean unless I do some scrubbing with something with friction (lol that sounds dirty) and loofahs are just gross to me.

I agree with all of this. I don't know why but loofahs bother me.
My skin doesn't feel as clean if I don't scrub it a bit so I use a rough washcloth.
I use bar soap and have a natural fiber bag that I keep it in, so the bag kind of acts as a loofah, I guess. I said "other." (I also use bar shampoo, though that's not really relevant to this.)
Oh good I can’t wait to get to the part where we start calling each others’ habits disgusting.
LOL that was my 1st thought as well! Which is partly why I was sure to say loofahs were gross to me instead of just gross. Y'all clean yourself however you want!
I love the Salux cloth, it dries super fast and is kind of sharp in a satisfying way, very exfoliating with lots of good lather from bar soap or body wash. I use a Clinique sonic brush for my face.

I do a combo of run soap all over and use a washcloth. It is so annoying when the washcloth rolls up when I am washing so the soap on before helps that.
I use bar soap and my hands. Dh thinks I’m disgusting
The first time I stayed at Hs moms, I’m pretty sure she threw up in her mouth when I said I didn’t need a washcloth. I use my own bar of soap. ((Shrugs))

I've been thinking about doing this (figure every little bit helps). Do you just use regular soap you find in a convenience store, or something a little less harsh/more moisturizing?
My kids and I went to someone's house who used bar soap and they had no clue what it was. I had to show them how to roll it around in their hands to create suds. They thought it was the coolest thing LOL.

I'm still experimenting! My current bar is Dr. Bronners (comes wrapped in paper). My food co-op (and also whole foods) have, like, goat milk soap you can cut yourself and buy by weight. I'm also going to check out what Lush has. Personally, for summer, pretty much anything is fine, but in winter I definitely want to pay attention to the moisture content.
I use a silicone scrubber because I feel like it’s more hygienic than a loofah, and I don’t really care for washcloths.
I tried using one from Boie and I hated it. There was hardly any later and I had a lot of ingrown hairs from the lack of exfoliation. What one do you use?
