I'm looking for some podcasts to listen to while I do my makeup on the weekends. It takes me about 15 min, and I like listening to something while I do it. M-F I listen to NPR's Up First, which is the perfect length for it. Besides that podcast, I mainly listen to a bunch of true crime ones, but those episodes are typically 40 min+ and I'd prefer to save those for times I can sit and listen all at once.

I also listen to Up First. That's my coffee and couch time.
It is a little longer like 17-25 minutes on average but I enjoy Every Little Thing for a quicker podcast. This is their blurb: Who invented pants? How did ‘pink for girls’ and ‘blue for boys’ happen? What do dogs say when they bark? ELT is here to answer your burning questions.
It is appropriate for all ages and I learn fun and interesting facts. I also like Tumble which is a kid's science podcast. Also under 20 minutes. I enjoy most of my kid's podcasts and learn a lot but they tend to be ~30 minutes. Tumble is nice because there is very little schtick and no weird sound effects or loud sidekicks. They just interview wxperts on cool science topics and they don't talk doen to the audience.
Song Exploder is a good short one - different artists go into detail about how they created a song. It’s super interesting, they break out the different music layers and talk about their process.
The Stoop Storytelling Series is usually about 25-30 minutes, but each episode has 2 stories, so you could listen to one in that time and hold off on the next one.
Ditto Kind World, especially the earlier ones--it's one of my favorite podcasts.
I like Before Breakfast. It is by Laura Vanderkam. It has productivity tips and under 10 minutes a piece (shorter if you go past the starting and ending ad). It is weekday mornings so there are 5 a week.
