We're redecorating our master bedroom and this bed frame caught my eye:
I know Chippendale style everything is in right now, but is it staying for a while or is a quickly-passing trend? And if you say yes to the bed, what kind of nightstand and dresser would you pair it with?

It’s not my style, and I would worry that it would be uncomfortable to lean back against. If you really want to commit you could do those enamel-style dressers with brass fittings. I’m on my phone but will dig up an example when I’m home.
I don't hate the style, but I'm not a fan of the proportions - the frame seems too tall relative to the size of the bed itself. (This could be a trademark of the style, I honestly have no idea.)

Honestly, if you love it, then get it. It's NMS but I'm not living in your house I would go for something with clean lines, either in wood stain or other color paint. I would NOT do blue.
I like it but it seems too narrow for the bed. I don’t worry about leaning comfort as I always stuff pillows there to actually lean on. I like the blue and don’t “believe in” heirloom furniture as I’d rather have something I love for 10-15 years and then replace it once it’s run it’s course than have something I don’t love for 50 years. So go for it if you love it!
huh. not what I think of when I think Chippendale (which I didn't know was in now, but I don't really keep up with these things.) I thought Chippendale was super traditional colonial looking furniture a la Thomas Chippendale? but I digress...
I like the bed, it doesn't look particularly trendy to me, so if you like it, I saw go for it!
I actually really like the color. As long as everything in the room isn't in competing/overwhelming bright colors, I think it's refreshing.
But I do think it limits your choices in terms of swapping out comforters and other accessories down the road in a way that a more neutral piece wouldn't.
I actually really like the bed, but had no idea that was Chippendale Style, I actually had to google it, because like pp's I thought it was a much more traditional furniture style.

I've seen this referred to as "Chinese Chippendale".
