who LIVES in omaha? i didn't realize there was more than corns and cows in middle-america (half-joking). how do you know this person? are they from omaha? do young, educated people stay there, or do most people move away to bigger cities?
I don't know anyone in Omaha, but I have a cousin getting married in small town Iowa next spring that we'll be traveling to. His fiance is a beautiful, successful girl that he met while they were both stationed in Afghanistan a couple years ago. She is from a little town, and even though she is in school in a larger city now and they will eventually move to Seattle, she wants to have her wedding in her hometown.
Dh's family lives there. Omaha is actually an up and coming city. I would not live there DH woukd not move back.but it's not bad. During the last election Omaha was the only blue area in Nebraska! There isn't any cornfields in Omaha proper, but they are close!!
