covergirl82 we can't really do that in our room at MIL's house or I totally would. We are in survival mode for the next month until we finish this house and move. I've accepted that the few weeks between moving in and Christmas are going to be spent breaking bad habits like DD getting up every night and me eating ice cream 5 out of 7 nights. We'll be back to normal for 2020 lol
Well I just spent my Tuesday morning follow both kids to school with DS driving. I am a nervous wreck. I stayed right behind him ready to take out any crazy drivers who may mess him up.
covergirl82 what kind of cost is a palate expander? Is it like in the hundreds of dollars or thousands? It doesn’t have to be exact, just the neighborhood. Trying to figure out how much to withhold in my health care reimbursement account. .
I can't remember if they gave us a break-out for each item, but the whole cost for each kid for palate expander, braces, and one retainer was $2600. Insurance covered $1,000 (that's the lifetime ortho amount for our plan), and then we are paying the rest from our HSAs. Our ortho had us pay $600 up front, and then $100/month after that for 10 months.
Woot made it home at 1am this morning, my flight was on time. The kids woke me up at 5:45am....send coffee....I am going to go pretend to be a real human today.
Tuesday vent because it feels like a Monday: Our town just postponed trick or treating to Saturday due to weather. What weather? Rain. WTF. Seriously side-eyeing that decision. Especially because now it is having a major domino effect on my week. I was going to work from home on Thursday so that I wouldn't have to rush to drive home in time for trick or treat. Added perk to that was that beau was going to come over for a lunch date. Now I can't justify using up the WFH time (it's very limited here - I accrue it like PTO) and I have to cancel my date. And my kids have a birthday party scheduled already for the exact time of trick or treating on Saturday. So we have to figure out which to go to. UGH. It's RAIN.

k3am DH sent this to me over the weekend and thought he was hilarious. I may have rolled my eyes and scoffed at him. He was also sitting next to me texting me.
