I thought 90 day started last week too. At least, I watched it last week. Not sure if shows are available early on demand? I also watched the shorter on demand version of ep 2 yesterday.
Either way, Emily is definitely Sasha's next mistake, no matter how much she insists she is different. Also, how do you live in another country for 3 YEARS without picking up enough of the language to order tea?
Julianna was a yacht girl, which I think is why they were both so sensitive to the prostitution question in the immigration interview (which I think is just a routine question).
Anna and Mursel are adorably dorky. I feel like most of their relationship must just be hope that they project on the other person, given that they can't communicate in any meaningful way.
I predict Robert and Anny self destruct before the end of the season.
jinkies, i agree with your take on things. How does Emily not know the language by now? My friend spent a summer in Germany with her relatives to take a break and then take intense language classes to become fluent. It can be done!
I think it would be so annoying, after some time, to always communicate via an app.

there’s always an early release of many TLC shows on the app, so I’d imagine the same is true for On Demand!

TBF, I lived in Peru for two years and took Spanish three times a week the entire time I was there. And I was nowhere near fluent. It was incredibly hard for me; I’d take calc 3 over learning another language any day. DH, however, is fluent, and he took a third as many classes! It was so frustrating!
That said, I could understand most things, and I could have a basic conversation. She certainly should know some of the language, there’s really no excuse. Something about Emily is...off.

90 day started last week but all I can remember from it is the lady living in Russia who cannot speak the language and is pregnant. Like how do you go into delivery and not be able to speak to your medical staff?
RHONJ - I am getting sick of the Theresa/Melissa story line. They make up then Theresa gets pissed at something stupid so they fight. <yawn>
RHOAtl: The babies are cute. I feel for Porsha going at it alone since she kicked him out. How random that Sincerely was at OLG to defend her name with the cheating rumors. C'mon Bravo - don't make it look like such a setup.
Married to Medicine: Contessa's carnival was crazy! I hope her and hubby can work things out - they were my fave couple on the show. They seemed the most normal out of all of them.

Ehh, people live in the US for most of their adult lives and still don’t become fluent in English. It certainly takes effort to learn a new language, especially one that is so different than English. I pretty much learned zero Xhosa while living abroad although I heard it daily because I didn’t invest time in to learning it.
I’m on the train so was just able to watch Ep 2 (the shortened version) and damn Sasha’s ex-wife told it like it is. Emily seems weird.

I'm not expecting true fluency, my friend was in school in a really, really intense program. BUt I would think after three years you could order tea.
i do envy people who are able to pick up languages easily.
notsocreepylurker, I agree about Teresa and Melissa. Melissa will never do right, no matter what. I don't like Teresa at all.
wanderingback, Jalapeñomel, Back to my comment on languages, one thing that continues to annoy me about this show is the people seem to make little to no effort to really learn their SO's language. They rely on an app or for that person to learn English. I find this annoying, which is probably silly.

It’s really annoying! I don’t know how you can have a meaningful relationship if you can’t communicate.
My feathers get ruffled when people say “how do they not know the language!!”, because learning a new language is really hard for some people! But learning the language is certainly different than making zero effort at all, and after three years, one should be able to get around and somewhat communicate if you’re actually making any effort. .

Oh! The guy from Greenwich is so strange, and I love that his ex-wife was like, “dude couldn’t get a 20 year old Brazilian model if he wasn’t rich” like duh!

I’m guessing you don’t interact with a lot of immigrants on a daily basis?
Yes there are plenty of immigrants who learn English and are proficient and even fluent in English. But there are also plenty who have lived here for many many years who would not be able to order tea at Starbucks in English. So it’s great that you think one would be able to do that, the reality is that many people cannot order in their non-native language. Have you lived in another country for an extended period of time?
As far as the app thing goes- they said Marsul was taking English classes and Anna did speak some Turkish. So it seems they have both been trying to learning each other’s language. I don’t think he’s going to like Nebraska very much though and that’s going to be a big problem for them, on top of the kids.

Yes that was hilarious. I think she’s just waiting for it to crash and burn so she can say I told you so!

I have had interactions with immigrants fairly regularly.
My comments are more directed at the Americans on this show, and not so much the people from this season, but an observation I have made watching the many iterations of this show. And I am not saying all, but from watching this show, I see far less effort from them to try and learn something, especially as a means of being able to communicate with their SO. That it is should be all on the SO to learn English period.
I don't think Marsul realizes what is waiting for him and yet again, I feel uncomfortable when there are kids involved in these situations. It seems like a lot to expect kids to be OK with a man or woman, whom they do not really know, just moving in.

cleo29, Got it. I thought you were talking about Emily not knowing how to order tea in Russia. Hence my comment about immigrants often not being proficient in English. But I see your comment was about Americans not learning another language. That isn't exactly shocking to me either! American elitism is real But to be honest, all the guys I've dated whom didn't speak English as their first language, we definitely resorted back to English instead of me learning another language. Shrug.
It'll be really interesting to see how Juliana interacts with CT douche's kids and the woman from the DR :/
The guy from CT and his ex wife look like they could be siblings! He seems nice enough but that lady is far too young to be thrown into the stepmom thing in a new country too. I suspect she just wants to further her modeling career.
The lady from the DR is so rude to that guy-can't remember their names. She is going to be drama for sure. Not that he seems super likeable either.
I thought it started last week. I am so off because they are not posting things correctly on TV. I am excited though, especially for VPR.
Did you see that Candiace filed charges against Monique for assault? And the incident happened during filming so curious to see how it goes down.
I saw that and couldn’t roll my eyes hard enough.
RHNJ- what makes someone, like Teresa, not be able to take accountability for anything? She could stick her foot out to trip you and say that if you hadn’t walked by it wouldn’t happen. Is it upbringing? I am truly fascinated by people who take zero accountability for things.
Jackie agrees to not talk about Teresa as long as Teresa agrees to not talk about her. Teresa responds ‘I don’t talk about you’. Say what? There is video proof of you talking about her.
Watching the tell all part two for Unexpected and McKayla and her family still make me pretty mad. I believe Calen and his mom and feel pretty sad for both of them.

The Hailey 1 and 2 drama is crazy.
I feel really bad for Caelen. He’s missed so much and there’s no way to get it back. McKayla is gonna be pissed when they give him 50/50 custody, and she won’t be able to do anything about it.

I agree. I think her grandparents being there was hindered things more than they helped. bottom line is that she needs to grow up and they need to let her figure things out.

5chickens, I cannot watch this show anymore because of the very thing you wrote. It makes me want to slam my head against a wall and scream SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT YOU STUPID LIAR MORON. And since that kind of outburst (lol) scares my kid and my dogs, I choose to FF through her scenes. I literally can't with her anymore.

Yes! I laughed and laughed when she said during the tell all that she was going to move out after finishing college. Girl has no clue about paying rent, buying food, or getting child care coverage. She is living in a dream world.

Below Deck: I love Tanner and Brian. They work so hard and have great attitudes. And they are hot. Kevin is even growing on me. I love when he pitches in on deck.

Glad abbi left, she was not really doing much. the whole proposal thing was odd. lol

Love Brian. Courtney annoys me.
Abbi added very little to the story. I’m curious who the new deckhand is. It’s clearly someone Captain knows. I wonder if we know him/her, too!!
Courtney’s only saving grace is that she acknowledges that she’d rather be a guest. She’s quite entitled. I’m not a fan.
I’m curious to see what happens to set Kate off. She’s been fairly chill this season so far.
RHNJ - Teresa and her girls went to Italy to visit Joe. I have been following the trip on Instagram and I have yet to see a photo where Her and Joe are side by side. They are always as far away from each other as possible. And it is so obvious that his family cannot stand her. I wonder how messy this divorce is going to be.

Idk. I’m kind of more team Theresa than Team Joe in this. He was absolutely sleeping with other people while she was in prison, so why is everyone so mad at her?
