Hooray! Seven months after our addition started, we can finally sit on a couch in our t.v. room again! This was where I wanted the leather sectional but it was uncomfortable to sit on, so we got these couches from Room and Board instead. It's still a lot of seating. The coffee table and curtains will be changed out, and please ignore the last few bits of mess in the background. :-)
That's a huge couch! It's coming together nicely. I wasn't a fan of the rug when you posted about it earlier, but it really pulls the room together and looks great.

Yeah, the rug is interesting because it's not exactly my taste either...I don't really like more Native Indian / Aztec-y designs which I think it is, but color-wise it's perfect, and it's growing on me.
The couch is huge. I'm not sure if I should try to get throw pillows in sets of four, or if that would be too matchy-matchy? The pillows there now are just ones I had lying around already.

I like a lot of different pillows that coordinate but don't match--but I think that a lot of people like matching, so depends on your personal taste. I spent like 4 months looking for just the right pillows and love the ones I got, but not everyone is that crazy, lol.
Your couch is gorgeous. That is such a great room and the couch and love seat are just the right proportions--well-done!!
Are those chairs from Target? I’ve seen them all over blogs and am wondering if they are comfortable.
They are from Wayfair...I think I ordered from AllModern for the best coupon but all the same site underneath. They are called the Derryaghy armchair (let me know if you can’t find it and I’ll check the spelling). They are actually quite comfortable but have some quality issues I can tell you more about if you are seriously considering them. They look similar to West Elm’s Show Wood chair but cost about 1/4 as much.
Thank you! Yes, total dupes of the West Elm chairs. People have been raving over the target ones and I love the look, but was worried about the comfort. Glad to hear you like yours - I’ll have to check out those exact ones. Were the quality issues major?

So, the first two chairs sent to me had big black marks on the left arm of both. If it was just a little mark or more to the inside it would have been fine, but these were very prominent.
On the bright side, at first I requested replacement arms from AllModern. They said they wouldn't arrive for several weeks, and I was kind of upset. We ordered these chairs primarily to "hold us over" until the couches arrived three weeks later, and at that point it would be moot. I called AllModern back to say that in light of the delay I just wanted to return them and order something else, and instead they sent two additional chairs at no cost and told me to keep the original ones!
Otherwise, they were quite difficult to put together...if the screwholes line up it's a breeze, but if they don't you have to do a lot of pushing and pulling to get something into position to screw in. At one point my son was holding a flashlight, I was pushing on the arm to make everything line up, and my husband was putting the screw in. I don't know that I would have been able to do it on my own. The little wooden plugs to cover the screws will need to be glued in eventually, I keep finding them on the floor. There were two screws, however, that didn't inset far enough for the plug to fit, even though it was obviously lined up right. So, I'll have to figure out how to shave off the part of the plug that goes into the hole and just glue it on so that it looks the same as the others.
That said, given that I ended up getting four chairs for about $350, it's all stuff I can deal with. They do look a little "office-y" without throw pillows on them, but they are very comfortable to sit on, and look nice now that they are all assembled. If Target has something similar I might go with them, though, because then you can return to store if needed.
