twinmomma, any chance you can haul the girls in with you and set them up in an empty conference room with their tablets, coloring stuff, and books so you can at least get a few hours of in office prep time?
I had to drop my 2002 car off at the shop yesterday. The piston is misfiring is what the computer code said. My mechanic said hopefully it is just spark plugs, I'm waiting for a phone call this morning. He knows I'm babying it along until we pay of DH's truck which should be by June. I don't want to put a ton of $$$ in it but I also can't roll two car payments. We have enough stashed away for me to be a used car if it is under 10K but finding anything decent for that price is really hard. Everything I'm looking at is $17-22K which are 3-4 years old but has under 50k in miles. I'm looking at a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav4. Similar in size to by Jeep Liberty but way better gas mileage.
Update from the tundra: It is still snowing. It's been snowing since Sunday afternoon. I can't get to the office. Roads aren't plowed, highways aren't cleared... I have given up on that dream. I'll prep here what I can, get to the office at 7:30 to cram in an hour of prep time before the meeting, and hope for the best.
OMG my car just needed new spark plugs and an engine coil replacement. All cheap parts!!! Plus it is ready for me to pick up on my way home. I was really stressing as I have tons of appointments later this week so need my car.

Just remember that everyone is in the same boat. People will get that the snow threw a wrench in things. Good luck with everything!!
