Do people still wear them? They were huge a few years ago but now I don’t see anyone wearing them. I finally took the plunge on Stitchfix and my first box shipped. And it has classic TOMS in it. I was surprised. And for those interested, not impressed with the whole box. It looks like a time capsule.

I got my first a month ago and was underwhelmed. I said I wanted bright fun colors and got navy, maroon, white, and black. And most didn't fit right despite me saying I am very pear shaped. Isn't that common enough that they'd know which pants work and which don't?
The next one comes this week. I will likely cancel after it unless it is spectacular.
I’ve done Stitch Fix for 2.5 years. I’ve gotten some fun stuff! This box was the first one I’ve ever thought “I want my money back.”
A friend of mine said her last box was also awful. We both asked for winter dresses and both of us were told “Winter dresses are going fast and I couldn’t snag you any.”
No winter dresses? In December? 🤔🤔
I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but it seems like their inventory is unusually/dangerously low at the moment. They sent me a jacket and I have asked them never to send me jackets...

My last box was a little phoned in, but I actually ended up keeping everything. I wasn’t excited about one top (very clearly a summer top! I know i live in FL, but it’s December). With the discount for keeping everything, it ended up being cheaper to keep it than to send it back. And I’ll wear it when it warms back up.
I did manage to get a dress for a work Christmas party. It’s not amazing, but it’s black so I’m sure I’ll wear it for other occasions.
I have kept the same stylist for the last several boxes, and she does a good job of finding stuff that fits me. The first few boxes were not great, but she figured out what fits. I’ve gotten a few great tops and some awesome jeans.
I like playing the style swipe game in the stitch fix app and they show TOMS all the time so I’m not surprised. I wouldn’t want them for the winter but I think they are still “in”.
I was also disappointed in my last box, I’ve been doing it sporadically for years and the stuff was just so weird and not my style at all.

I agree about Stitch Fix. I saw an ad for Wantable and am considering trying it soon. I signed up for their email list and their deals lately have been at least 25% off the first box.
I got an offer for stitch fix for $75 for 12 months of boxes. I got it a couple of months in and then got it again when the 12 months expired so I’m wrapping up year 2 of it. I like it but the items all seem over priced for what they are. I have gotten some things I really like and some things have been beyond atrocious. I’ve heard better things about the Nordstrom one.
ETA. I still like Toms for warmer weather easy casual shoes. I also have a pair of ankle boots that I love.
Not a fan of TOMS. And I have to get very specific with my stitch fix boxes to get what I want. There are brands that stitch fix pushes a lot and TOMS is one of them. Also Nike and Superga.

I agree that it’s overpriced, but I also try to figure in the convenience of having something sent to me. $90 is more than I would like to pay for jeans, but it’s definitely worth it if I don’t have to go to a half dozen stores and try on jeans all day and get frustrated that nothing fits or looks good, or $100 for a dress to wear to a wedding that shows up on my doorstep that I don’t have to search for or have altered.
I’m not sure how much longer I’ll do it, but for now it’s still working okay for me. I also pay the yearly styling fee (I think mine was $50?) and feel a lot better about ordering a random box for a holiday party outfit or other special occasion.
But I love Toms and have several pairs of the classics, and a couple pairs of wedges. They're comfy, I can wear them most of the year and with most outfits and come in cute colors/designs. My plain black ones are so old and a favorite for me so I've worn holes in them at the toes, but they're never on sale.

I love Toms because they’re comfortable but less casual than sneakers. I can’t wear heels anymore, and I can’t even handle wearing dressy flats if I need to walk a lot.
My recent fix also had toms, but not the classic. Even still, I’m just not a toms person to the point I used “hate it” with the feedback.
I’ve recently done a couple fixes and have been underwhelmed - different stuff I may not pull myself but not exactly what I want. I’ve kept 1 item from 3 boxes because I’ve liked it enough for the “discount” of the styling fee I already paid.
After being meh with stitch fix I tried trunk club and have had better results. I’ll give stitch another shot in the spring but I think I prefer trunk club.
Thanks all. I think I may give trunk club a try. My stitch fix box really misssd the mark. I also got two (2!!!!!!) sleeveless silk blouses. I’m in the northeast - where am I supposed to wear these? And seems like people wear the classic Toms sock less in warm weather. So why are they sending me these now? I also said I like skinny jeans in color (no blue jeans as I can’t wear them to work, but colored jeans are fine). Guess what I got? BOOT CUT BLUE JEANS! Oy.

I still wear mine. I have like 8 pairs, so I'm going to get my money's worth. I bought a cute holiday pair with gingerbread men last year and they are cute as hell. No one can convince me otherwise!

I’m telling you, something is super weird right now with Stitch Fix. I’ve done every other month for the past 2.5 years. This is my first “wtf box.”
