Tl;dr: they posted an complementary article about how Facebook was safeguarding the integrity of 2020 elections. Then it got a “sponsored content” label. Then it disappeared. And then the article disappeared.
Teen Vogue, WTF?
Am I remembering right that they were bought in the last year? Or got a new editor?

Is this sponsored content too? The NYT piece suggests it’s not, but it’s so specific. Not just best bags under $100 or Who’s having a winter sale on bags.
“The Best Under $100 Bags to Shop From Coach’s Major Winter Sale.”
Elaine Welteroth, the editor-in-chief who made Teen Vogue awesome again, left in early 2018.
That is good to know. I just looked up and Lindsey Peoples-Wagner is the current Editor in Chief, and seems pretty young. She started as fashion editor and so maybe she is more focused on that again. I'm interested to see if they re-correct to more politics after this and a few of the concerns on their content in the past few months. This is her talking about her resume and it's pretty fashion heavy, but I'm not surprised for Teen Vogue.
I think it has changed quite a bit from the 2016 focus on politics to more of a fashion trend mag again, but that might be the content that some teens want right now? I really wonder if it will focus on politics more in the primary race and upcoming presidential race.

Lindsey Peoples-Wagner was at The Cut for a long time and I liked her work there. She did really good work talking about racism and fashion.
This stuff is pretty egregious, but I’m not sure how much say the EIC has over advertising, especially a new, young EIC. That editorial was awful though. And the tweet promoting it too.
