I finally got our smart devices squared away and set up, so we have one in all the main rooms and kid dots in the kids' rooms. I set up a sleep playlist for them and put it on a routine to play in both rooms at the same time. I'm excessively excited about it.
I also bought some new Volcom ski gear, which makes me happy, but that's probably not especially useful to most people.
I'm at 18K of my 50K meter rowing goal. I think it will take me another 3 weeks to hit it and then I get to get a new gym bag. I need to start looking around. But after using a cheap bag from work, I'm realizing I'd prefer a much smaller bag than I initially thought. I'm glad it's something I realized. Recommendations welcome!

Good job on the 18K so far!! That's amazing!!
Thanks! I can already tell I'm adjusting to it quickly. My 500 meter split time is consistently staying closer to 2:20, rather than just over 2:30. I got in a good workout after my row warm up today too. Getting back to it!
A Lovesac Sactional (lol, that word) couch. We were in desperate need of a new couch and finally pulled the trigger today. I'm really excited about my new couch. Ha.
I love my new Allbirds wool runners. They are the best sneakers I have ever had for walking. Outside of travel I don't wear sneakers a ton but I just got back from Italy and they made a huge difference in my comfort.
I also just bought a new wallet on our trip. It is a soft Florentine leather and purple, my favorite color.
I am trying to avoid clothing purchases. I bought a bunch this fall and realistically have more clothes than I really need.
I was having serious guilt about this splurge. H skis in his military issued pants and it was a big deal (to him) to buy a ski jacket. I’ve been wearing the same frumpy too large coat and frumpy $35 pants from dicks for like 10 years. Now that I have a new bod I wanted something sleeker and more flattering.
I also bought two new pairs of Injinji trail toe socks for running (Blisters can be a problem with long distances for me) and my old pairs had holes in the big toes. I ran a 25k this weekend and my toenails were hurting so bad I was afraid I’d done damage. (They are fine) But I deserve new damn socks with no holes!
I bought a North Face Arctic Parka worn once, on Poshmark, for $150. Half off. I feel like the bravest person ever for buying a winter white coat, as a mom to a 3 year old but also in general. My last coat was black and I was just so booooored with black coats. I’m up to the task of washing the damn thing. I think. ETA: it’s waterproof, so that should help with the occasional coffee drip or whatever.
I bought a white winter coat several years ago and I think it’s my most complimented article of clothing ever. I support you! lol
eb777888 I have the green wrap dress that you posted. The fabric started pilling all over after about 4 washes. I guess I could use a fabric shaver on it, but that’s too much work. It went from being my favorite dress to being one that I can’t even wear.
I’ve been buying things like there’s no tomorrow! I’ll make a post with most of it once I’m at a computer. My absolute favorite thing that I bought is the Radley sectional from Macy’s. I’m in love with it! It came highly recommended on a Facebook group I’m in and I totally understand why!
We have been booking flights and hotels for three big upcoming trips, plus booking both kids’ birthday parties - i think I need to not spend any more money for about 6 months.

Ugh!! Really??? I haven’t received it yet so it may not even work anyway. Does it run really big? I sized down because of the reviews.
I did but the black blouse in-store and it is wayyyy cuter than it’s pictured. It’s sooooo cute and flattering.
I cleaned out my closet the other week and got rid of a bunch of shoes that were worn out and in pretty bad shape. All the more reason to go shoe shopping! I ordered these from DSW on Sunday.
I bought the revlon styler everyone is raving about. I've used it 3x over the weekend and I'm sold. I makes my hair look like I have a blow-out. It's awesome.
eb777888, I was looking at the madewell zip top transport tote. I'm just not sure if it would be too small for me. I keep saying I'm not going to carry a lot of stuff and then I feel like I can never pare down.
Haven't bought yet, but eyeing a hermes bangle on therealreal. Want to treat myself for my birthday, but can't decide if I should do a bag or jewelry.
