Which ones have you loved that are worth the re-watch?
I love finding new shows to binge, and honestly don’t have a ton of time for tv, but I also have a list of shows that I want to watch again from the beginning. My husband doesn’t get it, except for Sopranos which he has seen approximately 3x all the way through.
To answer my own question, I’ll always watch re-runs of Friends, Gilmore Girls, etc if they’re on tv.
But I’ve also deliberately re-watched Friday Night Lights, The Good Wife, Greek, and I’m sure others that I can’t remember. Usually it’s a show where I was super invested in some relationship.
Game of Thrones, Outlander and Last Kingdom. I need to do a rewatch of Black Sails. I've rewatched them a bunch of times, especially when I'm doing something and I cant focus 100% but I still want something on.
I got through seasons 5-8 of GOT doing all the cooking Christmas week.
Prior to the final season of Game of Thrones, H rewatched that a lot but oddly he hasn’t rewatched it since the finale. and now this reminds me I should rewatch Westworld soon.
I love Supernatural, The Originals (but not the Vampire Diaries lol), Psych, F Troop (ancient sitcom), Get Smart (just as old), Teen Wolf, Quantum Leap, Firefly, Buffy (and pretty much anything by Joss Whedon). I also watched a couple of series a few times, but easily walk away now, and those would be things like Fringe, Burn Notice, Monk, and several others that were on the USA network.

I need ham like water Like breath, like rain I need ham like mercy From Heaven's gate Sometimes ham salad or casserole or ham that’s free range, all natural I need ham
Gilmore Girls X-Files (mostly because I missed half the episodes when I was a kid) Parks and Rec The Office
I used to reward the last season of Grey’s before each new season started but I haven’t watched the actual show in 6 years now.
I feel like this is more common in dialogue driven shows. If a show is all about plot and events then you’ve already gotten the entertainment out of watching it once. If it’s about entertaining dialogue then I will happily go back and watch it again since I can’t remember the exact dialogue in any given episode, so it still seems fresh and fun to watch.
Breaking Bad - I think I've watched the entire series about 4 times. It just gets better with age!
The Office - The whole series I've seen about three times. Also will randomly just watch an episode here or there when on TV.
Gilmore Girls--Seen it through about three times and also like just watching it whenever it's on. It's such a feel good show.
ETA: Also re-watched Mrs. Maisel with DH since he hadn't seen it. And I forgot that I have done a re-watch of the early (and IMO best) seasons of Grey's.
I rewatched 30 Rock from the beginning. Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, and Friends are shows I’ll watch when they happen to be on but I haven’t rewatched from start to finish.
Mrs. Maisel is one I can see rewatching in its entirety. Maybe once the series ends, which I hope isn’t anytime soon.
West Wing, House, Gilmore Girls, Law and Order SVU (the old Chris Meloni episodes, not the newer ones), Reign (guilty pleasure lol), Downton Abbey, etc.
I have trouble devoting my whole attention to TV/movies. I always have to be doing something else (folding laundry, knitting, etc) and I miss details because of it. So I keep waiting to start new things until I can "give it my full attention" but then I never feel like I can. So I keep rewatching old stuff so it doesn't matter when I miss stuff.
I rewatched Roswell a few years ago while renovating our kitchen. It's still great! I got to about season 8 of ER but now I have switched to Cold Case. I don't think the latter counts since I have seen so few episodes. Original Law & Order (everything that was on Netflix and reruns if we haven't seen them 10 times in the past 2 months) Buffy - selective episodes rather than a full rewatch. I have probably seen Once More with Feeling at least 30 timed Murder She Wrote - on our second rewatch but rarely stay awake for the whole episode Midsomer Murders - same deal as Murder She Wrote Death in Paradise because we love the setting
I have been meaning to rewatch The Royals but have a few new shows I want to finish first
