DH and I have been binge-watching The Stranger on Netflix this weekend and I'm obsessed with it. It's really good.
Oh this does look good. I see there is 1 season. Does it seem like it's going to end in 1 season or keep going?
We are only halfway through. I'm not sure. I know it is based on a book (I haven't read the book). I kind of hope it's just one season because it seems like the story line would get really dragged out if it keeps going.

Oh my god, DD and I were out taking a walk because it was in the upper 50s today. She was riding on her scooter about a block ahead of me. She just got it for Christmas and was having so much fun zooming around. Suddenly, she went over the top of the handlebars. Her helmet has a brim on it, and I watched it smash into the pavement. There was that moment of deafening silence as I started running, and then she sat up, looked back covered in blood, and started screaming. When I reached her, I thought she had knocked out her front teeth. No, they were just stuck biting into her top lip. I was able to adjust her lip and gave her my glove to catch the blood.
We got home, and I cleaned her up. Blood all down her front, right to her shoes, oh my god, it was awful. The bleeding stopped on its own, but I thought for sure we’d be heading in for stitches. I got her to take some Tylenol and put some ice on her lip and then almost fainted myself once I really looked around and took in all the blood. We are quite a pair 😂
I texted her Nana to let her know, just in case we ended up needing to see a doctor if her head started hurting or anything else, and we might have needed an extra hand. She brought over a pile of popsicles ❤️ 3 popsicles and 2 applesauces for dinner seem to be just what the doctor ordered. Just hoping the swelling doesn’t get too huge. She’s got some serious duck lips going on, poor thing.

Took all 3 kids on a 20 mile bike ride today. They are not tired, not one bit. DS2 is more wound up than usual because of our Super Bowl apps. Please fall asleep fast tonight.
I hate science fair projects with the fire of a thousand suns.
I tried very hard to dissuade DD from participating this year but she and DH are ALL into it. I'm still going to end up having to guide, though. UGH.
DD had no choice. So now we’re printing and reformatting and reprinting and gluing paper and they were told to put all their data in excel to make their charts.
Who expects a 12 year old to know what excel is, let alone how to make a chart with it??
Plus, DD totally blew off her background research—was supposed to get 5 sources and barely got one—and now she’s ticked because I told her she has to do a little research project just for me: once the project is done tomorrow, she has a week to find and cite 5 sources on her topic.
I think Shipt went relatively well yesterday! My entire body is sore from all the lifting and cart pushing, but I made ~$110 with 4 deliveries. It was surprisingly fun and I’m looking forward to doing it again!
