I like the design of the S’well and that it is triple insulated but they are $. We have some rtic coolers which are great, so I was considering theirs. what do you have and love? I’d like to take it on flights with me as well as to the office.
I have 2 simple modern ones that I love and got on Amazon. I filled it with ice and water at an airport on a trip and it still had some ice in it 36 hours later.
I have a Corkcicle and I love it. I can compare it to my daughters Hydroflask (she likes mine better) and they are similar price points. Mine fits nicely in most if not all cupholders Mine has a small screw top lid and it's not too wide that is spills on me Mine keeps things colder longer Mine has a built in rubber grip on the bottom. This is the main thing she likes better. Obv. it grips so it doesn't slide or slip, plus it's less clangy and prone to denting/chipping.
They have lots of unique colors/designs. I have a Unicorn one in black

I rarely see them mentioned here but I have a Miir. I think it works great. It keeps liquids hot and cold for hours at a time and it travels well (isnt huge, fits in a backpack water bottle holder, cup holder, is small enough to pack in checked bags)
I have a Hydroflask that I use daily. It is very well insulated and keeps drinks cold for a long time. For the price though, I think the knock off ones from Costco are a better value and I wouldn't buy another Hydroflask. I'm not really one who cares that much about super cold drinks though. Pretty much any insulated (non-plastic) water bottle will fit my needs.

Just FYI, Hydroflask makes a rubber boot that wraps around the bottom of the bottle, just in case she wants to look into that. I have one on mine. I do like this feature of it compared to other stainless/metal water bottles I have.

I love my Hydroflask. I also have Thermoflasks from Costco. The Thermoflasks are fine to use at home and work, but the Hydroflask keeps water much colder when it’s hot outside.
We love these. We took them on our 14 day National Park road trip in July and they were easy to carry (there’s a flip handle on top) and kept our water cold even in 105* weather hiking.

I’ve gotten the 3 pack of Thermoflask from Costco and really like the 24oz size. It has a sock at the bottom and the handle is a nice size and easy to grab. It keeps water as cold as any other bottle we have and the price was great- it’s also dishwasher safe.

I love my Costco Thermoflasks. They still had ice in them after a long day at SDCC. I also have an insulated Tervis bottle that I picked up at a Disney event that is my go-to water bottle for Disneyland. It is smaller than my Thermoflask but it fits in my purse and in most cup holders.

For anyone who is an REI member, there are 2 bright colors of the rubber boot on clearance for $1.73 in sizes that look as though they would work for most of the hydroflask water bottles. They often have 1 bright color of the hydroflask water bottle on sale but I just checked and only saw sale prices on a few other hydroflask items but not the 20-22 oz water bottles. They may have a Presidents’ Day sale soon.
I have a swell that fits better in my purse so I use that more on a daily basis but my hydroflask is a 32 oz size. It is awesome for the weekends but feels too big to carry around all day when I am places like work where it is so easy to refill a smaller bottle.
I like my Kleen Kanteen drinking vessels. Although, I usually just travel with my nalgene. It's not loud, won't dent, and I won't be too upset if I lose it.

I love my S'well bottles. I don't think they are that expensive, particularly considering that I have used them 1000's of times and saved who knows how many plastic water bottles from being in the environment. For me, that is worth the cost. Plus, I'm obssessive about cold water, so I prefer to have a bottle that keeps my water as cold as possible.
I also have some Swig Life cups (for work and at home) but they seem to be in the same price range.

I have a few RTIC bottles and they work great. This is what I travel with, since they are inexpensive and I don't want to risk losing one of my S'wells. I love all their products!

However, on our ridiculously long flight to Ethiopia I somehow had it laying on the release button. 90% of the water leaked out all over the floor and my bag in the first hour or so of the flight. I was so damn thirsty by the time we landed.
Can I ask a follow up question regarding all of these recommendations? Do any of these bottles have a flip top lid or similar? I'm looking for something for when I'm driving, as I have a 1hr commute, so I don't want to have to mess with a twist off lid.

The Contigo one tripleshot posted does. That was one of the main reasons I bought it over some of the more popular options.

For water bottles, S'well has a sports cap that is a flip top that I love! It's great for when I'm on the treadmill, etc.

I just wanted to update that I got that water bottle and tried to use it for the first time today. It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to get the water to come out LOL Otherwise, so far, so good.
