For those of you who:
1. Have poor eye sight 2. Primarily wear glasses but have backup contacts 3. Shave your no no place in the shower
How do you do it? Do you make the first pass blind in the shower then finish the job after the shower with glasses? Or do you just wear your contacts in the shower?
The flapless need NOT reply, you will be escorted out of the thread.
I'm blind as a bat without glasses on or contacts in and I usually just shave blindly in the shower. I prefer to put in my contacts after I've washed my face. Maybe it's because I've been wearing glasses since kindergarten, but I always shave blindly or by feel. Even when I do have my contacts in I can't contort myself to see that well while I am shaving so it's still mostly by feel lol.

I shave blind. I can't see worth a crap and I have never nicked a flap. I am also not trying to get every surface smooth, just clean up the edges.
I am going to need a tutorial of how you would shave your buttcrack. Are you super flexible? Do you go from the front or back? Do you need three arms (two to seperate your cheeks, one to shave?)
This one is battery-operated. I got another Wahl too and it wasn't good but THIS model I will buy for life. I use one on my chin hair too. It's great because it really works well but doesn't ever nick anything (some other trimmers do) and you can really get into all of the nooks and crannies should you want to.
Pre-vision correction surgery I would trim as short as possible with an electric trimmer (and/or children's safety scissors) then put my foot up on the edge of the tub and do it mostly by feel. Then I moved on to waxing.
Now my waxer has gotten married and had a baby and I'm too lazy to find a new waxer or shave, so feel sorry for my husband. Although that's only part true, I do still use an old (Schick?) trimstyle to keep things today and occasionally I'll shave if I'll be in swim wear. The years of waxing really thinned me out. TMI.

I can’t see anything without my glasses, and I don’t have contacts. I just wear my glasses in the shower. I rinse them occasionally when they get fogged up or have too many water droplets on them, and it works just fine.

This is like asking if it takes 3 arms to wipe your ass. I usually put one leg up in the edge of the tub to spread my cheeks a bit and just swipe the razor from front to back. I’m not flexible and I could do it one armed if I had to.

I go by feel. I'm blonde and can't see the hairs well anyway. I trim everything up first with a mens mustache electric razer, I think they're cheaper and better, then go back and shave (or not when I'm single lol).

Except in one situation you’re holding soft cushiony toilet paper, and in the other situation it’s a razor blade 🤷🏼♀️
I don’t think the two situations are comparable at all.

In a tub I put one foot up on the edge and bend slightly forward. In a standing shower it's slight more complicated, but not really, think lunges or squats. I'm plus sized and have a tiny shower and it's still not problematic.
Sooo...I don't fit in any of these 3 groups. However..I AM fat. So. I go in blind if I use a razor. Shave by feel.
But!!! I naired it a few times...basically also covered my whole body in nair because I, too, am part of the chewbacca/big foot hair club. And I have never had an issue with burns or itch or anything.
Now that it only takes 3 mins to remove it all, no more blind shaving.
Can’t you just hoist the flap up so you can see it? 🤐
Listen to me Blue Fingers, the flappular quadrant is easy to navigate, that one nick was an anomaly. There are just one or two other spots that you have to contort to get every last hair. I said GOOD DAY.
