I love Earl Gray. I hated it when I was younger but love love it now. Especially as a London Fog latte.
Any peppermint for upset stomach. I think I have TJ’s organic now.
I used to swear by celestial seasonings Sleepy Time, until they whole The Urantia Book info come out. I still don’t buy their tea even though there’s probably no tie to the crazy anymore.
My favorite herbal tea is an alpine tea I had in Switzerland. I found a recipe for something like it, bought like 11 herbs (including chamomile) from Mountain Rose and blended my own.
So, wholly unhelpful for you.
I like a wide range of Fortnum & Mason's black teas for non-herbal.
Peppermint is a good evening tea, IMO, though. Because I have a gazillion loose herbs now, I often do a blend of peppermint with lemon balm & lemon peel, raspberry leaf & cacao nibs, or nettle.
Stash Earl Grey- it has a good amount of bergamot in it which I love. They make a caffeine-free version. Newman's Own Ginger Green- this is the best for a hangover/upset stomach
I drink a lot of local tea company teas, but the Tea Spot ones noted below can be ordered online.
Mornings: Tea Spot Mile High Chai (no sugar), black
Other caffeinated: choco-mint truffle from tea spot, earl of gray also from tea spot
Non caffeinated: local tea shop’s (InTea) winter mint with a splash of milk, coconut crush chai from Tea spot (rooibos) with a splash of milk. These are both great at night. Sometimes I’ll do a basic peppermint tea at night too.
For everyday, I just like English or Irish Breakfast teas; I'm not too picky about the brand. They just feel comforting and familiar to me, because that's what I grew up drinking. I don't like most herbal or flavored teas.
Probably not the best for the evening but I love Harney & Sons Dragon Pearl Jasmine tea. It’s a blend of green and white teas and smells so good. Doesn’t have a floral taste to it though.
I love Aveda's Comforting Tea. It has something in it that gives this natural light sweet flavor at the end of the sip. It is the only tea that I have never had to add sugar to.

Yes, for years now. I loved this stuff. It has licorice in it, which I think is what adds the natural light sweet flavor, but it does not taste like licorice (which I do not care for). If you ever see a store in the mall, they should have some that you can try.
We have a cake of really good pu’ehr that we bought in China last year. It really is like no tea I’ve had before. It’s a fermented black tea that tastes buttery with deep flavor. I think I have enough to last a year, then I’ll have to find a source for it back in the states.
