I highly recommend adding Swedish fish jelly beans to your stash if you can find them. I grabbed a bag this year after not being able to find them for the past 5-6 years!

Swedish fish jelly beans?!?!?! Omg, where??!
I found them for the first time many years ago at Target around easter, but have looked every year since and haven't been able to find any. (My mom and sister even look for me too!) I found them this year at our locally owned IGA grocery store. I just finished a bag and am going to stop on my way home from work to see if they still have more!!
So good if you can find them. I like them better than regular Swedish fish!
We bought a fancy seat that dries, warms, and has front wash as well as rear wash. We've cut down so much on TP, and stopped using flushable (we never flushed them) wipes. That front wash really comes in handy during shark week.

I clicked on this link almost 24 hours ago and cannot get this toilet seat out of my mind. It is basically a car wash for my undercarriage.
I'm going to put this on my Christmas list this year and see what happens
NGL, it's totally changed our lives. There are few more pleasurable feelings in life than waking up on the coldest day of winter, walking to the bathroom for that first morning pee, and sitting your cold, bare ass down on a heated seat. It's utterly blissful.
Yes! Me too and it was a problem since I had to go to 3 stores to find some today. My Costco is 100% out of all toilet paper and paper towels of all brands.

Same, though I haven't driven to a bunch of stores yet. Only one Target and one Costco today. I'm going to check Trader Joe's, too.

We’ve been to three Costcos, target, Walmart and the grocery store every day all week and STILL no luck!

This AM people were lining up at 6:30 to get toilet paper. We opened at 7.
I was really surprised today that the store I went to had plenty of basically everything EXCEPT toilet paper. I was afraid they'd be low on things like bread and eggs. But the only aisle totally cleared out was the TP. What the hell?
I bought TP at Costco about a month ago, so we should be ok for another 2-3 months under normal circumstances. Now that we're both working from home (or will be next week, at least) we'll go through it a lot quicker. I may have to cut back on water consumption if people are going to continue to clear the shelves.
I just bought a bidet attachment because of this thread. And the one linked is sold out in the white color so I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one
I bought one yesterday for forty bucks on amazon. It is 80 bucks today. Demand has spread!
Also to the people that like warm toilet seats ... ::shudder:: I like a cold seat. A warm seat means I sat way too soon after the prior person sat and their germs haven’t had a chance to die yet.

I’m out of tp and am just using boxes of tissues. Is that plumbing safe? I’m not wanting a disaster. Does the paper break up like tp paper does? Really hoping the hoarding chills quickly.

Those that are totally out, go to a restaurant supply store, or industrial supply store and get the big rolls. The one in my town still had a full supply. It's better than nothing.

We have an every 3-month subscription for bamboo TP.
There was a slight mistake with our order last month, so they sent a replacement order. We currently have a 5ish month supply of bamboo tp. We’re (hopefully) good to go.
And pst to someone upthread- it’s unbleached! And fairly soft!
My sister and I did a gag Christmas gift swap with some friends, and Sis’s gift to someone else was that giant Charmin Forever Roll of tp. We all laughed and wondered when she’d possibly use it.

My mom went to 5 stores today trying to find toilet paper without luck. We will probably bring her one of ours if she hadn't had luck by Saturday. I'm now thankful my husband bought an insane amount when it was on sale and we got store points for it months ago.

Tissues are a disaster waiting to happen.
My daughter found TP at both Home Depot and Lowes when she was looking. She ordered it online and picked it up at her local HD.
DH said our local grocery store was almost out of TP when he went last night, but he was able to get a package of it. He said the store was an absolute madhouse. No hand sanitizer or wipes, but I did find a mini hand sanitizer I bought last summer to use when going in the pit toilets in the national parks! So there's that, I suppose.
I want to clarify that by "stocked up" I just got one extra big thing of toilet paper. If we run out, I think I'm one of the handful on the board that would be perfectly fine with family cloth. So there's that.
DH ordered a 24 pack of black washcloths and we still have wet-bags from when I cloth diapered. If we run out I would rather people who really feel they couldn't do without TP to be buying it. And I don't want to step foot in a store unless I can help it for a loooooong while.

The psychology behind it is so true. I have a pack of TP at home, but today at Whole Foods I was tempted to buy some of the single rolls that were left for no reason whatsoever. Just seeing the mostly empty shelf except for those few rolls made me want to buy it.
We have plenty of TP, but I just opened the last pack of baby wipes and suddenly I'm having some anxiety. We should still have plenty because we have at least 4 open packs scattered throughout the house. Also daycare is closed and I use way less than daycare uses, but all of a sudden I'm anxious about it. LOL But also, if I told H to run out to Costco for more wipes I think he'd kill me so we're just going to deal with what we have on hand. Normally we have at least a full case on hand at any given time, but I was waiting for a sale which they seem to do twice a year. I think I need to step away from the news because I know rationally we still have plenty and will be fine.
I saw some posts on Twitter about NYC grocery stores like Trader Joe’s and Wegman’s being stripped bare of supplies. Someone jokingly said it’s all a hoax perpetuated by Trader Joe’s to test which products people won’t even buy in an emergency and therefore they can get rid of ... there were photos of totally empty frozen bins, but the bin of cauliflower pizza was still full, for example.
Honestly, I did not anticipate that the must-have item during a pandemic would be TP.
Full disclosure, we were nearly out so I bought a big bundle from the grocery store before things went nuts. That will get us through probably at least 2 months and is not more than I usually buy.
