Bread, the bread I found today had a really near use by date on it so I didn't buy it as I already had enough for 5-6 days and I don't have space to freeze it. There is only one brand I buy because of allergies and I don't know that I can count on finding it next week since our area just shut down schools for 2-3 weeks. I have plenty of food to get us by, but we will miss it.
In Pennsylvania, the state government runs all of the stores where you can buy liquor. The PA governor already shut down Montgomery County in Eastern PA and he is asking all Pennsylvanians to not go out to restaurants, gyms, movie theaters, etc. So, I wonder if he will order all of the liquor stores to close. I stopped by my local “state store” (that’s what we call them) last night and stocked up.
Alcohol wipes, like the kind you use before an insulin injection.
They already seem to be getting hard to find. We thankfully have some and I asked mil to grab a box if she sees them anywhere, but I'm planning to go look for them today. We go through a lot right now between dh's insulin and one of the medical treatments we're doing at home right now.
Soap. I stopped at Walgreens on my way into work today and they had a good amount of medicine but their hand soap was wiped out. Grabbed bar soap and shower gel.

Oh interesting. I have a zillion of those leftover from IVF that I stashed in a drawer. If you end up having trouble let me know and I can mail some.

Feminine products, diapers, wipes, and adult incontinence products.
I am so happy that last week I bought a 6 month supply of diapers and wipes for my mother-in-law. Her assisted living facility is on lockdown. They charge $10 (!!) a day for incontinence supplies, and shopping on Amazon I can manage to pay about $2/day when shopping for supplies.
I've never found the Diva Cup comfortable, but broke down and bought reusable pads and period panties.
We have someone in our house that is immunosuppressed and has b-cell lymphopenia. We have been self-quarantined since Saturday morning, with the exception of DH going into the office for a few hours 2 days this wk. Homebound for the foreseeable future, now.
I'm still ordering some things online, but we are wiping down boxes and packaging with Clorox wipes.

This is the type of small, kind gesture that's going to get us through this, guys. <3
Sometimes when my hands are really dry, I do this thing where I slather them in vaseline, then put socks on my hands, and sleep like that. It helps a ton. I've already had to do it once or twice and I picked up a new tub of vaseline yesterday.

That's what I was thinking would br in short supply. I don't need them, but I noticed that they were missing from the shelves at CVS the other day. They didn't have any rubbing alcohol in bottles either.
I did wonder if they had some behind the counter at the pharmacy. It might berr worth checking.
I need the big refill jar of hand soap and didn’t see any at ShopRite supermarket when I went shopping around noon yesterday. I did get a whole chicken, though.
Browsing Twitter around 8pm night I saw ShopRite trending so I clicked ... someone happened to post a pic of the meat department at my local store and the chicken section was completely cleared out.
Milk will probably be hard to get pretty soon, if not already. I bought a new gallon and stuck our 75% full one in the freezer for later, and I also got a small container of shelf stable Parmalat (which was nearly gone).

My cousin owns a boozery in Sonoma. They're now selling hand sanitizer with cocktail essence. It's not on their webpage, but it is on their fb. As long as you're distilling alcohol, might as well put it to good use
I've never understood bread runs. It's been a few years since I bought a loaf. I love carbs and gluten, so it's not that I don't like bread. It's just I rarely find a use for it. But now I'm craving a great roast turkey sandwich day after Thanksgiving style. Can someone fedex me their freeze dried leftovers?
My guess is condoms are next run. Isolation, boredom, alcohol, limited pharmacies = sex and condoms.
My colleague in the Boston area said her Target was totally cleaned out of cat litter. When I told MH, he joked that people were hoarding it for when they ran out of TP.
I definitely think bread and all kinds of hand soap/dish soap.
Also, maybe not next week, but I think at some point people will try to get their hands on Gatorade/Pedialyte type of drinks, as more people start to actually get the virus.
One of the personal accounts that I read was that the in-hospital treatment for his (pretty mild) case was Gatorade and ibuprofen. When health professionals start recommending to people how to handle it at home when their family members get it, so they can hopefully have only the most serious cases go to the hospital, there will be a run on whatever they recommend and it will probably include stuff like that.
Thanks to this post, I just ordered laundry detergent and dish soap. I am almost out of both and had forgotten until I saw them mentioned here. I can't get either at the two places that I absolutely need to go to, so I am glad that I could get them online and have them delivered.
I need to stop reading or I will just keep thinking of things to buy.

I bought a new Diva Cup to try it, but I still had my Keeper as the main go-to. Well, one night a few weeks ago, DH woke me up at 2 am to tell me he'd accidentally flushed my Keeper down the toilet. Good thing I had gotten a new one! LOL
My H just reported that pain relievers are sold out at the grocery store and ramen is gone. He’s stocking up on Gatorade and Cheerios. We seem to be one step ahead of others in the area, thank goodness.

I've done this for years for my feet.

There is zero isopropyl alcohol and all the good pump soaps are hard to find around here. Stopped at Costco yesterday just for the fun of it and it was somewhat of a madhouse just after work hours. I may stop by and actually *shop* for some stuff while school is in session before we go on lockdown ourselves. (I'm fairly well supplied and will just use online shopping for most needs for the next several weeks but last ditch shopping for another couple gallons of milk, cases of Gatorade, and the tortellini I didn't buy yesterday, etc.)
And it's snowing outside now. We had hail in parts of Seattle while other areas were sunny and in the 50s. Weird times.
If I'm stuck in my house for 2+ weeks all my walls will be freshly painted.
I went to Home Depot yesterday for painting supplies for this very reason. There were hardly any customers in the store, so if y'all need household cleaners check there.
