My DH and my BFF both got approved for UE. 4/5 was the first date they both could request payment, and now for both of them it shows $0.00 (where before it showed they would get $521 from the state) and that UE is investigating to see if they should get paid or not. Seems weird this is happening to them both (different industries, both laid off bc of COVID).
Wondering if anyone else had this happen? Of course noone can get through the UE phone line bc its so busy.

I have 2 weeks furlough from my company, first one being the 4/20. We have been told that we can apply for UE benefits, I just need to navigate the TX UE website.
On my city page people are talking about this very thing. There definitely seems to be an issue. Everyone's advice is different, ranging from they had to contact their representative to get it fixed, to the UE line is only taking calls from certain area codes so you need to call on your designated day.
