We need new window treatments (moving), and I’m looking for something that is 100% blackout but can be raised/opened daily. I’d love to find some sort of window liner. I remember seeing one somewhere but can’t find.
Blackout cellular shades? We have them in several bedrooms, the cordless kind. You just lift up and down.
In the master bedroom we have light-filtering cordless cellular shades and blackout curtains. The light filtering shades allow light in while giving us some privacy (more crucial because of how our windows face) and we can pull the curtain across to block out the light.

Any blackout ones we’ve had aren’t real blackout. Do you have a rec?

I’ve gotten several different kinds from blinds.com and they’ve all worked great. Right now we have Levelor.
ETA: depending on how you hang them, you may have a tiny strip of light around the edges. You c can use light-blocker strips to fill the gap. I’ve never found it to be an issue though.
