Dd3 is outgrowing her infant seat, plus it is going to expire in June. Target has all car seats on sale. Both of the big girls are in booster seats so I haven’t bought a convertible in a while. Rec yours please! Also if you hate yours, tell me that too!
I wasn't a fan of the Graco Extend2Fits we had for DD. We bought DS a Clek Fllo this time around. Unfortunately he's only ridden in it like twice, since we bought it in mid-March and promptly went into lockdown! So I don't have much of a review on it yet. I will say the install we got with it is better than any install we've ever gotten with any seat in any car, and the mechanisms seem to work nicely, which was my chief complaint with the E2F. And I like how narrow it is.

We’ve used Britax car seats exclusively for the past 9 years (DD is still in one of their high-back boosters.) Never had any issues and DD says she feels comfortable and secure in them.
I love our extend2fit, but only because we have access to tighten the straps from the back. Like Susie mentioned (in a similar post, I think!), once DD is forward facing I think I'm going to want to pull my hair out using it. I have a hand me down Chicco Nextfit zip from my SIL that she hated because the sides were so high. That doesn't bother me yet, but I also find it hard to tighten the straps. Maybe I just need to eat my wheaties!

The Clek Foonf is $$$$ but I’ve had a bunch of other convertibles and straight up FFing seats and I prefer it a thousand times over. In fact, DS2 prefers it too. He always wants to take the care with the Foonf and not the Graco slimfit.
It truly is worth it, especially for a kid who will get years and years out of it.
The Fllo wasn’t around when we bought our Foonf, but I hear they are awesome too.
I got the Graco Extend2Fit and I probably wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re on a budget or have a giant kid and are super committed to rear facing.
I got it since it seems to have great reviews all over the internet, and I do intend to rear face until 4. I previously was using a Chico keyfit30 and feel like the E2F is a huge pain to install compared to that. I literally was sweating by the time I was done the first time I installed it.
It is also practically impossible to tighten unless you can pull the straps that are behind the seat tight. So I feel like I’ll have to buy another seat once we go forward facing anyways.
That being said my kid doesn’t complain being in it. And I read that it allows you to have front driver/passenger seats farther back when rear facing then other car seat. I’m super short and have my seat pulled all the way foward so I can’t personally attest to that lol.

Can you wash the cover?
No, but it has like a scotchguard (they are very eco friendly so it’s seeming else) that keeps it from staining or absorbing liquids. It’s my oldest seat, the lightest color (pale grey, the others are all black) and it looks the best.

What happens if a kid pees or pukes in the seat? Can you really get it all out?

I have only had machine washable covers before
Idk. I’ve never had either happen. Theoretically, I would hose it all down. There are a number of people on this board with Cleks, maybe ask more broadly? I’m sure it’s happened to someone.

Yes 100%. I have the fabric kit, but only used once. I believe they replace if your stain doesn’t come out but may have been the boutique I got it from.
