I’ve gotta say. There really feels like there has been a sea change in the DNC in recognizing the importance and power of women lately. I don’t know if this is influenced by Biden or Harris or DNC leadership but I’ve really felt a strong female leadership presence which has felt GREAT. I really hope all the people who didn’t vote for Hilary feel like absolute assholes and we trounce the f*** of the Republicans. Please God don’t let me be wrong.
Is there any sort of schedule? I want to watch Obama, but I also want to lay in bed with a heating pad. And no TV in the bedroom. I’m guessing he’s last and I don’t know if I can make it.
I'm not completely sure, but i would assume Kamala will close out the night. I actually kind of think Obama might be on during the first half, but that's based on nothing.
Can you stream it from a laptop in bed? Hope you are feeling ok!

I’m considering that 😂 And thanks. It’s just female issues. The countdown is on until I get fixed!
I've been really enjoying watching the convention. And by enjoying, I mean holding back tears and trying not to get too excited. It's been a nice throwback to what I thought America was before I found out it was actually a giant dumpster fire full of shit people. Gives me a little hope that maybe I can feel proud of us again someday.
I know I complained about this on Monday but I wish it wasn't on so late. It's been a struggle to get out of bed the last couple of days. Thankfully with working from home it's a short commute, but I really need to work out before work some days!
It’s really easy to watch the speeches online afterward. I missed last night so I’ve been catching up throughout the day today, whenever I need a pick-me-up.
Think of it like having one piece of Halloween candy and slowly making your way through the rest of the bucket in the days that follow instead of overloading on sugar. 🙂
Social media has ruined me. I know whatever they talk about will be all over the news when I wake up in the morning, so I don't want to be left out. I guess that's dumb.
Hopefully I stay awake through tonight though lol. I'm already tired and it's only 9pm!

How are you all watching? I've been watching on the major networks (CBS, ABC) but they only show the 9-10 PM EST hour, and they often talk through a lot of it except the major speeches. I'd prefer to watch a live feed.
I'm going to cry tonight. This is killing me. We better win in November or I'm going to have a mental breakdown. This is giving me flashbacks to 2016. I was so hopeful going into election night. I am still boycotting 538 because I blame them for making me think HRC was going to win.
I'm watching the Crooked Media Group Thread - basically the un-chyroned feed directly from the DNC on the left side of the screen, and the Crooked group Slack chat on the right.

I think it was pretty hard for everyone to deny the sexism within the party and across the country after what happened in '16. Then there was the women's march to kick off trump's term and I think women realized that they can't sleep on it. There have been a LOT of efforts in the 3.5 years since to encourage and help fund women running for office.

um CNN just cut to commercial. have they been doing that? so jarring. I'm going back to CSPAN
I was watching the ABC broadcast from Roku and they skipped all of this stuff, including Gabby Giffords. I had to switch over to YouTube to get a live feed.

Definitely look it up tomorrow if you did miss it
I just found it on Twitter. I’m incapable of watching her speak without crying. She’s amazing.

MSNBC was good the first 2 nights without much interruption. I'm watching an online watch party tonight.
