Dear Gym mom whom homeschools Thank you for all the books last night. Between the reading text books your kids have outgrown and the novels DD will have a stuff to keep her busy the next couple months. Plus when I eventually need to supplement for school the text books has all the questions so I won't need to spend the time reading and makin up questions! Grateful gym mom
Dear Me Why did you not take today off too? My back and head hurts and I'm cranky. I really should just go home and snap at DD there instead of at work where I'm trying to work unsuccessfully. Me
Thank you for a realitively smooth first day of school so far and an upbeat child.
Signed mom
Dear mom of a quarantined kid,
It is not my problem that you can't go anywhere labor day because your kid was quarantined due to exposure at volleyball. It doesn't matter how you say it, quarantine sticks. I don't have over 3 minutes to spend my time talking to you about it.
Signed, no more patience.
Dear work,
What he hell. I know we switched over a to a new system, but there are 40 blank cases just staring at me and driving me crazy. They better not all come through right before 5 when I won't have any help.
Dear children, School starts in a week. While I don't have a commute anymore, I do need to get you both up and out the door again for the first time since March. You will need to be wearing pants. You will have to brush your hair. You will pack a backpack with the appropriate items. Yes, every day. Think of the next few days as boot camp to get you back in shape. Good luck and Godspeed, Mom
Dear beau, I will do Whole30 with you. We both need to make healthier choices and this will be a good jump start to that. I know you like to reassure me that I don't need to lose weight and I look great and that's very sweet and what you're supposed to say as my boyfriend. But all of the pants in my closet say otherwise and the weather is getting colder, so shut up and let me eat healthier with you, ok? Signed, Refuse to buy new pants for fall
k3am, I'm lucky that I basically never have to care about what I eat or my weight or exercise and I maintain just fine. Except that quarantine ramped up my stress eating to extremes and then the local ice cream shop started offering door dash and it all went downhill from there. Whoops.
My Outlook calendar is up to date. I’m not one of those assholes that blocks every minute of every day with bullshit fake meetings so I have adequate time to get actual work done. So when my calendar shows I’m busy, and you really need me, don’t schedule that time. I’m not moving other appointments for you because you can’t use the Scheduling Assistant feature.
Signed, Declined 4 meetings in the last hour for this very reason
Anyone get the calm optics blue light filter glasses for their kids? If yes do they help? I'm looking at them for DD since she is on screens so much more than she used to be.

Add me to the club. My pants don't fit. Food is my hobby and I don't exercise enough.
Dear presenter today, Please do one on one training with me! You had so much valuable information that would help me with my job. Signed, I may end up on your team next month

I know I buy my glasses with that included.
We ended up getting a blue light blocking screen protector for the iPad as ds was saying his eyes were tired everyday and he has perfect vision. We also bought glasses but he’s never worn them because the screen protector did wonders for him.
Signed, I haven’t worn non yoga/workout pants since March
Dear head cold that DD, baby, and I have,
Please go away. I’m 99% sure you have nothing to do with Covid, but it would be a lot easier to send my kids around other people for school/childcare if you were gone.
Thanks WPs I just bought the blue light glasses, new headphones with microphone, and a USB to CAT5 port adapter from amazon all expected by Saturday. We can pick Chromebooks up starting Monday so I will have a week to test stuff to see if it will work. 186momx
Dear kids, School doesn't even start for another week and we're already frantically tearing the house apart to find masks because you take them and abandon them. This is going to go really well. Signed, Tired Mom
Dear quasi state governing body that provides delivery,
Why are we quarantining items for 7 days? I know the virus is detectable for 5 days, but is it actually infecting people? I mean are people literally licking their library books (besides toddlers)? I mean the main transmission is people talking, breathing, coughing, sneezing, singing. Not like a mass group of people sitting around licking books.
Signed, Don't have enough space and patience for this!
