Anyone have any good fall clothes? Preferably of the work from home variety?
My wardrobe tends to fall into the categories of comfy but embarrassing stuff I shouldn't be seen in public in or business attire, and I need help on the comfy but socially acceptable variety.

My office is so casual that my WFH clothes are basically what I'd wear to work anyway. I can get away with a hoodie or a tshirt now that I wouldn't before, but otherwise not much has changed. At home I don't wear nearly as much jewelry, scarves, or other accessories as I would going into the office, but the basic wardrobe hasn't changed much.
I find Old Navy rockstar jeans to be super comfy, so those are my go to for everything. It's what I wear to the office, what I wear on the weekends, and will be my fall WFH wardrobe too.
For tops, I found a vneck tshirt style that I love and bought it in every color. I rotate those with cardigans a lot. Otherwise, lots of Old Navy casual blouse type shirts. Sweaters for when it gets cold. I basically shop at Old Navy, Target, and JCPenney for most of my tops.
I do typically wear big earrings every day since I'm on a lot of video calls and they make me feel good.
For comfy but socially acceptable what about black leggings with a longer top (tank, flannel, tunic)? You could also do yoga pants with a longer top. I'm not a fan of compression work out gear, but the non compression type are nice, and yoga pants can either be more like leggings or a wider leg. They also have dress pants that are actually yoga pants. My friend is a fan, although I haven't tried them yet.
I haven't bought anything new in a while. I probably need to add this to my list honestly. My last pair of leggings were from Old Navy.
I had to upgrade when we moved into our house (10 years ago) because we got a lot of neighbors ringing our bell for lots of neighborly reasons, and answering in crazy clothes made me look nutty.

This is basically my issue now. I have at least 1-3 extra kids at my house daily, and usually their parents have a good chance of stopping by to pickup kids, chat, drinks, dinner, whatever. Or me needing to do the same at their house.
I was just telling DH that I need a nice waterproof boot that isn’t necessarily a snow boot. DD2 has soccer on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and the fields will be wet. My Hunters just aren’t comfortable enough for me to stand for 1-2 hours. I’m going to try these !
mae0111, I have a pair of bogs that I like too. Although I also wear them in the snow, but they are pretty comfy, although less attractive then that ones above.

For fall, I pretty much live in skinny jeans, sweaters or long sleeved shirts, and Uggs on the weekends. That’s what WFH will look like too.
Btw I bought these jeans on Amazon and love them. They are stretchy like jeggings but actual denim weight. Plus elastic waist so completely comfy when sitting in front of a computer all day. I was in a funk and delusional and purchased a cute black and white plaid Calvin Klein sweater and navy Michael Kors slacks for cheap from TJ MAXX. Then I remembered I don't go anywhere to wear that anymore and went back and also purchased a soft oversized sweatshirt.
mommyatty, do you feel like those jeggings run pretty true to size? I usually wear Old Navy jeggings, and I bought another brand off Amazon and they're gigantic. If I'm wearing regular jeans, I prefer baggy, but these were silly.

I’m a 10 or 12 in regular jeans. I got a 12 in these. I could have worn a 10 but the 12s are okay.

Might I add this option to the mix? I got these for my DD last year and was so jealous and obsessed, I got a pair for myself too!
madringal - ooooh I like those!! I have a pair of LL Bean duck boots and they are not comfy AT ALL. I like them but walking in them sucks. I think I will try these!
k3am, sandandsea, I know beau's reaction was a confused "Wait... what is that?" the first time I wore one. He didn't get how it was all one piece. And I don't think it's his favorite of my wardrobe. lol
But my sister and my girlfriends tell me I look cute, so I still wear it.
twinmommasandandsea it’s not just DH. I have a shorts and tank top romper style that’s cute I like wearing. And I think it’s great on the model and person I’ve seen wear it IRL, but this one plus my body proportions is... something.

Dang I went ahead and bought the off the shoulder romper sandandsea posted just now. I hope it works for me, but I'm short. I also am fat with big boobs now - thank you covid.
I mostly wear solid colored t shirts from old navy and jogger pants lately. But it's also still 95 degrees here so I have shorts from old navy too. Shorts are kind of the bane of my existence though. They don't look good I just wear them so I don't melt.
I’m going to KOKO with my skirts and dresses. Because they’re loose and work most of the year in SoCal.
And add me to the list of non romper bodies. I bought a couple from Tea Collection for DD. She’s 7 but big for her age so I got her size 10 - and they were still too small and looked awful.
I wouldn't count it out yet mustardseed2007 ! I am short but have the torso and arms of a tall person. I have not figured out how to dress for my shape. And I'm a card carrying member of the IBTC, so boobs may actually make it look better on you.

I just want to share that I'm wearing my romper today, but then I got cold, so I put on my giant, old lady cardigan sweater and my Ugg slippers. It's a very sexy combination. I'm sure this is how it's intended to be worn.

I’m also short and chubby with a larger chest and broad shoulders and think it works so maybe you’ll be in luck? I view mine as a comfy outfit I don’t have to think about. ETA. Ignore the bare feet. And I’m not planning on entering or winning any fashion contests so take it for what it’s worth.

I love rompers but I can’t do any that have a waist. So mine look like maxi dresses at first glance. But I’m also 5’10, so I have a whole different set of romper issues. (Hello, camel toe danger!)
My other problem is I don’t think I actually have a torso. Big boobs and short torso means my waist is right there so I actually have to pretend my waist is lower than it really is which is not helpful when fabric is gathered at my true waist.
