In a NY Post article (I know, I know), it did mention that DC was targeted but Bowser called Trump to "make peace." There was no mention of Chicago, but perhaps Lightfoot did the same. 

But oh well, I love my anarchist jurisdiction and I'll happily keep my federal tax dollars here in this state. I mean, this is what it's coming to - they withhold money from us, we should withhold our money from them. I like the rest of the country and all, but I am tired of my city and state being targeted by fucking fascists. Do they really want a civil war right now?

It makes sense, in that individual Republicans are more likely to own guns, and although I can't seem to track down numbers quickly I've heard that the military is something like 70% Republican.

And most of the police here are probably totally cool with it. They got their paychecks and pensions (from the state that they also hate so much) so fuck everything else.
