Wtf representing someone else’s voice - just shows that he himself doesn’t believe enough (any?) gay or black men actually support the party because he has to make up a narrative.
But that he just koko after that pissed me right off yesterday.
Yes, I think his current claim is that he was trying to copy and paste a tweet and just didn't do it right. The whole thing is so ridiculous, I'm surprised it's not a bigger story, especially since there is more and more awareness about the problematic usage of digital blackface.
Not on the same plane at all, but I remember someone on the knot message boards doing this to tell the “bride” that she was 100% justified in treating her bridesmaids like total shit, lolol.
Yes, that is the most ridiculous part! AND AND he owns a landscaping company in Philly (not Four Seasons.)
I replied to it in earnest when I originally saw it, although in retrospect I probably only saw it because he had been called out. But the bolded part ...? Too. Much. WTF.
How do you mean? Do you mean in terms having many parts of the state where people are strongly right wing?
I grew up in rural Western Pennsylvania, and it's been like this my entire life. Maybe this is just getting more visibility now in this era of social media.
(Edited to clarify: Lehigh County is in Eastern PA. My sister lives there. However, I know from personal experience that large parts of Pennsylvania are NOT at all progressive in terms of politics.)

I mean, not for nothing are parts of PA called Pennsyltucky.
I always wondered why people would say this. I mean it's not close to Kentucky at all.
. This is actually referencing that everything that is not Pittsburgh or Philadelphia in the state is pretty much like all other parts of rural appalachia. Full of people who are Poor, racist, insular, and sometimes a bit odd, but when people think of PA they think of the cities first and forget about the other bits. It's not uncommon to see confederate flags for instance.
