The 3 of us plus MIL. We usually have a full house but won’t risk it this year. MIL lives alone and sees no one. I don’t know what the right answer is as we balance her physical health with her mental health. She knows our situation (working from home but DS goes to in person school), and we have left the decision up to her.
I answered 1, but technically it's 3-Me, Myself, and I.
I may meet a friend and her husband outside at a park masked and social distanced over the weekend for a walk. We all WFH & are very careful, and she's one of my inner circle that's been helping me for the last 7 weeks post surgery--so we've been around each other a lot including very recently.*
*I had very major surgery about 7 weeks ago, and you can read my post on H&F about it. This was not elective surgery.
this. Outside and distanced. Possibly without any food. (Well, we'll be outside, she'll be inside with the screen door closed. It's the most effective way to enforce distance with the kids.
Just the two of us. We’re usually hit and miss on Thanksgiving, so this is fine.
I would have a really hard time not going home for Christmas, but we’ll skip Thanksgiving in the hopes that we can make Christmas happen and I can quarantine so I can stay there for a couple of weeks.

Same. And a dessert for each one of us.
Yes, absolutely!!! At least one dessert for each of us....maybe another later in the evening.
5- the 3 of us and my ILs who have been in our bubble the whole time. Actually, this is what we always have when we’re in town for Thanksgiving. However, the years we travel there are 20-30 people because my aunt loves a full house. I feel bad for my (OOT) mom who will be all alone. I think my sister will bring her some food, which is more than she typically would do.

6, my husband and me, our three kids and my brother who lives with us. We were supposed to be with my ILs this year and it would have been 12 people over 4 households but we mutually agreed to cancel weeks ago.

I initially said 7 because it was going to be my two kids, H, parents and brother. But I now amend it to 5 because I just found out on IG that my brother (who has been isolating this whole time except for work) is in FL with my sister. So I am NOT going to risk it at my parents and I'll just have MIL at our house (which is frankly what I should have done to begin with because she wouldn't go to my parents' and has no where else to go).
I haven't told my mom yet and I'm not looking forward to it because she's going to lose her shit. God forbid I do anything other than what she wants for the holidays (her sisters already decided the normal gathering was too big and are doing their own thing, which I'm thankful for).
Oh no, animals put me in the 10-20 bracket! But does the cat who always hides upstairs count, or only the animals who will be in the vicinity of the rest of the group?

We've basically included my parents in our bubble because they help us out a lot with childcare. So Thanksgiving (and probably Christmas) will be our immediate family of 4 plus my parents, for a total of 6. We see my parents multiple times per week.
We won't be seeing DH's parents or brother, even though we all live within 10 minutes of each other.

I've got a big fish tank. Should I answer 30+? Or only include the animals likely to beg at the table?
I clicked more than 10, but I host twice, so two different groups. The early session is 4 people and the evening session is 6 (unless my mom gets nosy and stays for both)
