We are down from 6 to our family of 4. My in-laws were staying with us 3 days a week for childcare, but even that seems to risky now with numbers the way they are.

We tried to buy a chicken (rather than a turkey) for our 3-person Thanksgiving. Not terribly surprisingly, the grocery store was sold out of small birds. So I guess more people locally are keeping their Thanksgivings small than the grocery stores were anticipating. DH is disappointed, but I'd so much rather there be a shortage of small birds than the alternative. I know a lot of people are making dumb choices for Thanksgiving, but I'm glad to see evidence that many people are making good choices.
