We have the Chicco Kidfit. I like it a lot! It has lower anchors on it so it stays in the seat very well. DD finds it comfortable. The seat material is nice and cleans well.

We have like 5 Graco Turboboosters, 1 Evenflo, and 1 Graco with latch (can't remember what it's called) (2 kids, 4 cars). They were all fine. We found we really didn't need the latch as we still moved the seat around a lot (not really for the kids to ride in other cars since everyone who drove them had boosters, but to move it off the seat to make room for the dogs, big packages, etc. when kids weren't in the car with me.
We have a Graco Wayz (5 pt to HBB combo seats) set up as a booster. It is hard for my son to buckle in one car with it, but ok in the other car.
We also have Graco Turboboosters (the version with latch). He can buckle with no issues there.
Grandparents have two different Evenflo 5pt to HBB combos that the HBB kid likes but he is a fan of the turbo booster or wayz more.
I do like having latch on the HBB as I don’t have to worry about strapping it in with no kids there. I could do without, but it makes it easy.
We just did the car seat shuffle at Thanksgiving. My younger son (5) is still harnessed due to immaturity and my older son (8) is in a HBB. We don’t drive much now because of the pandemic, two of our seats expire in the next few months, and the little guy was looking too big for his seat. We got two boosters on sale so we now have 2 dedicated boosters, 2 5 pt to booster combos, and the slew of seats the grandparents have (not that those are used right now). Everyone seems happy.

We just transitioned to the Britax Highpoint. I really liked that it still had a crotch strap the seatbelt clips into (not sure how better to explain). This will help keep him from sliding down.
Not sure if it’s just my car, but the width of the booster and angle of the seatbelt receiver (which is in the cushion and doesn’t move in my car) make it so he is not able to click in himself.
Right now we are only using one car. I will prob try putting this seat in the truck eventually and look into other options for my car.

We have both a Graco Tranzitions and Chicco MyFit Zip. Both start out as seats with the 5-pt harness and then you can remove them. I like the Graco because it's slim, cheaper, easy to install and converts into a backless booster too. I do like the MyFit too, but it doesn't turn into a backless booster. I got it because with the Zip version, it's easy to remove the fabric to wash since DD2 is a puker.
I have two Graco Turboboosters and LOVE them. So lightweight and easy to move around...converts to a regular booster...easy for her to buckle herself in (has trouble with other boosters)....comfortable...inexpensive!
