I know there are some people on the board who love these. I am considering investing but have a few questions first. Are they warm? I am a teacher and always freezing in my classroom and was thinking of getting one to keep at work. That leads me to my next question....is it nice enough to wear at work or is it too casual? Lastly, sizing question....do they run big? Small? True? thank you thank you to anyone and everyone who provides answers and opinions!

They run big. They’re warm, but not super warm. For a classroom I might look for something more like the Barefoot Dreams cardigan which might be warmer. I do like mine but I would t say it’s super warm.
It’s a pretty thin fabric and it’s not fuzzy on the inside like some sweatshirts but it’s surprisingly cozy and warm. It’s def nice and tailored enough to wear as a top layer in a business casual setting and it lays really nicely. IMO the wrap runs big, I’d size down from your normal Athleta size.

I agree that it is cozy, but thinner and lighter than any of my actual sweaters. I usually wear it in the morning over workout pants and a tank top to not be freezing, but I've layered it over long sleeve shirts when I'm just hanging out and find it really comfortable. I'm usually an XL or 1X in Athleta tops, but I got Larges for the wrap and it fits well, so it definitely runs big.
Somewhat related, I bought a hooded cardigan from Gap Factory that I LOVE. It's very warm and about knee-length. It's become my go-to house sweater lol. Just something to look into if you're looking for a cheaper alternative - I think it was like $25.
I got one for Christmas and want to live in it, for what that's worth. I find it quite warm. It was enough to keep me comfortable in 40 degree weather when I was running errands the other day (just quick in and out from car to store).
It does run big. I don't plan to wear mine at work, so I'm fine with the baggier size I have, but you can definitely size down from your normal size.

I live in MN and I love it but it's not warm (and it's not business casual lololol). It's warmer than a long sleeve t shirt but it's not as warm as a thick sweater. Maybe about like a light sweater.
Definitely not business casual, but it would be fine in the elementary school where my husband works. They are definitely a casual school. But if I was working with little messy kids, I’d probably go for the Target knock off!
I think I looked at it and it didn't have pockets. Is that correct?
No pockets was a deal breaker for me. I need pockets!!!!
The target version has pockets.
The target one has pockets, it runs HUGE. I’m a solid large and I have this in a small. it’s very comfy though, I would never wear it to work, it’s very casual

I tried it on but didn't keep it, I kept a different, shorter wrap (that I don't see on the site anymore). My normal size was good (petite med).
I felt like the sleeves would be too snug to serve as an all purpose, throw it over everything kind of cardigan. I would wear it with a tank or short sleeves but not over long sleeves. YMMV.
Target makes an excellent dupe that’s $28. Love mine. I have two
I will ditto this. I actually had a Zoom happy hour with a friend a couple of weeks ago and we figured out i was wearing the Target dup and she was wearing the real thing, and they looked exactly the same. Since we were not together i don't know if they feel differently, but the stitching and other design features are identical.

I bought this and have a question- is it staticky after washing? I just took it out of the package and tried it on and it clung to everything. I had a light sweater on, took it off, and had a cami on underneath, then tried on the wrap. I’m not sure if it’s the combo of what I was wearing before or that it had been vacuum packed into the shipping bag. I don’t want to wash it and see that it’s always like that and then I’m stuck with it.

Not sure about the Target one, but I’ve never had static issues with the Pranayama. I don’t usually put it in the dryer (long story, but I hang dry 90% of my clothes),but I did yesterday for a few minutes to get some wrinkles out and it was fine.

I am wearing it right now! And I haven't found any issues with static. I do throw it in the dryer with dryer sheets, so IDK if that helps.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll hang it up and let it air out and try it on again before I decide. I want to keep it because I need to replace a similar cardi and this ticks all of the boxes!
