I just watched RHOSLC and Jen is something else. She deflects so much. I’m meh on Lisa and Meredith. I still love Whitney and heather.
Edit: I understand Jen and everything she was saying to her husband. My husband deploys a lot and it’s heavy to be alone all of the time and have to make all of the decisions and be in charge of everything. I understand.
Jalapeñomel, does this season of MAFS look promising? (wait, did you only watch one episode or all of them?)
I was annoyed that Jen was not really taking ownership of her behavior. you ruined your husband's party. And Whitney was not doing a great job explaining things nor did she choose a great time, but clearly the producers always tell the women to start shit at parties.

As far as I know, there’s only been 1 episode. It looks less dramatic than last season, so hopefully that’s promising.

I thought I saw or heard something about someone is pregnant and maybe someone does not go through with it.

I agree she took no ownership. It’s not Whitney’s fault your husband didn’t talk to you for 4 days. The whole thing was interesting because, while we knew Jen was lonely, she had never really brought up the shaky ice their marriage is on.
Also I think it’s ducked up that he left and refused to talk to her for 4 days.

not to mention not attending the funeral. Coach or not, he could have taken time away. He did not want to and that is a big problem. And how he could not think that would upset her is confounding.
Separate from that, Jen has an anger issue. No one made her do anything. She needs to grow up.

Ok I watched MAF! All the no masks, so bizarre to see, ha.
Ok I like Ryan and Vincent out of the guys. I think Chris and Paige are either gonna hit it off really well or it's going to be a train wreck. It'll be interesting to see how Virginia is...Erik seems pretty lame. Flashbacks to the horrible match of Henry and what's her name. Ryan seems sweet and genuine, hopefully him and Clara are a good match.
I just started watching, but was MAFS filmed over the summer? Are they just pretending COVID isn’t happening?
I was wondering this too, because it was filmed last year. No one with masks (except the dress shop owner), nary a word.
Yeah it must've been filmed this summer after the last episode finished. I wonder if they did a lot of testing because that bachelor and bachelorette party, eek. I assume for liability purposes they at least had people tested, although my understanding is that in Atlanta clubs are open :/
Ryan mentioned the pandemic with the whole blind fold and hands holding thing, but otherwise no mention of the pandemic, I guess they didn't want pandemic talk to take over the show? I think they always go to Mexico for the honeymoon anyway, so I guess that might not change, but I would be like no thanks, I'll just do a road trip to the woods for my honeymoon.

MAFS - I really, really wonder how/why they pick some of these people. The blonde lady is already annoying me and the party-girl doesn't seem to be someone who I can see slowing down anytime soon with ANY partner.
There's a MAJOR spoiler with a lot of drama about one of the couples. It's all over Twitter/Reddit if you want to find it.

Well I think this is probably where the "experts" fail or just want to create drama... I don't know. I hate the expectation that people have to slow down or change to get married. I think that's why me and my partner's relationship works so well, lol. We're both still pretty independent and do our own thing at times, but have the solid foundation of our relationship being their for each other. Pre-covid he wouldn't get shit faced drunk every night, but there would be weeks where he'd go out until 1am with friends multiple times per week. That's fine with me. Sometimes I'd go out to eat or a bar by myself because I like doing that.
Anyway, I'm being super long winded, but it seems like the people and the experts are like "I'm going to find someone who I know I need" and they think that means the party person has to be put with the calm person who never ever goes out and clearly that's not always the case! A party person can be matched with a party person.

I agree with what you wrote. I get it, marriage means many things to many people and doesn't necessarily mean slowing-down.
What I failed to mention is that this particular party-girl in MAFS (Virginia) hasn't had a relationship in many years and is jaded by marriage due to her parents' failed relationships. IMO this particular cast member has too much baggage to be matched with anyone.

My spouse and I did a lot of partying in our 20s. ML gave me shit over it.
Also, I think Chris is quite bizarre, so I hope his partner is...open. The Elizabeth Moss girl is too much.

I love that you and your H used to go out so much! Not surprised that ML gave you shit, that’s why I didn’t start posting over here for awhile, tough crowd! I was just telling my partner the other day that a post COVID activity will def be going out somewhere till 4am and make up for all this lost time, ha.
Yes about Chris. That’s why I def said they’re either going to work out great or it’s gonna be a complete train wreck lol, I feel like there’s no in between.

Wait, what? They gave you a hard time for going out when you did not have kids?? That is nuts.

You weren't around ML "back in the day"? It was not a very welcoming place! lol
Oh no, I was, I just don't remember that part. I took some time to start posting and have been raked over the coals a time or two. Sometimes it was deserved and other times, not so much.

She is absolutely 1000% acting. And yes, when she was crying to her husband without make-up on, I was like, WOW, she is really beautiful. I couldn't even see what she looked like before under the eyelashes, contouring and lip gloss.
I just watched RHOD and I was so happy to see our dim sum place on there! We went there all the time pre-pandemic.

The food looked amazing!
The ladies freaking out over eating a chicken foot was super annoying. At least D’Andra (right?) tried it. I thought they were being pretty disrespectful towards Tiffany.

Kirin Court. It is SOOOO good. It's actually in Richardson. We always go during the week first thing because they are packed otherwise and it is a 2+ hour wait.

Yes, because I wasn’t mature or some shit.
We were both in school, no babies, and it was fucking fun!
Boo! I remember being turned off of guys who seemed to think they were still in college and partying in that way (think more binge drinking and stuff like that), but not people who just liked to go out listen to live music, dance, etc.
