In a just world, yes. She shouldn't be in office anyway. She basically ran unopposed. She wasn't elected, she was given a participation trophy. Evil piece of garbage.

Hell yes.
But it’s a huge problem that she even got elected in the first place. I think potential congresspeople and senators need to undergo a thorough background check first. I’m assuming she needs to have a security clearance and it doesn’t seem like she would’ve cleared one before the election. Her social media posts were not hidden. Everyone knew what she was.
This is an honest question...what is the argument presented that she should NOT? (Or at least not be censured?)
It has happened so rarely. I’m not saying she doesn’t deserve it, but I do wonder since we are so divisive if it will result in the GOP trying to expel Dems down the line. I could see them making a case for AOC just because they don’t like her. I’m not saying they are equivalent - I am saying the GOP doesn’t play fair.

She beat out several other not-insane Republicans in the primary. The only thing I know about her district is there's a giant Qanon billboard on the highway - so I'm not surprised they picked her
Can we please stop using the term redneck? It’s generally considered to be offensive. I don’t appreciate offensive terms, even when they are about people I don’t like.

Recall that the Democratic challenger for this district was bullied by MAGA so much that he fled/withdrew from running. This is cancer that needs to be removed.

Yes, this is critical. I feel the need to defend Georgia to the Internet by reminding everyone she ran unopposed in the end -- purportedly by design. Low-information voters wouldn't have known they had the option to NOT check her name as the only candidate on the ballot. She was an inevitability. There are a lot of fucked up lawmakers representing GA, but this one is an extreme anomaly.

Yes. I called my newly elected (republican) rep today and talked to his office about this. I will follow-up with an email. But I told him to have integrity, look at the ethics of this, and to ask his leadership in the house to censure or review her committees.

Pretty sure I'd lose my job if I did any of those things on SM. Not sure why she should be exempt...
SAAAAAME. But I guess the rules don't apply to domestic terrorists in Congress. She literally liked a post about killing Nancy Pelosi, who is HER FUCKING CO-WORKER.

They put her on the education committee?!?! Pelosi just remarked on that assignment (basically, "What were they thinking?!?!?")
The more I think about it, the more disturbed I will be if she isn't expelled. She's a freshman congresswoman, in office for like 3 weeks. So far, all she's done is give the GOP bad press. There should be no sense of loyalty towards her. They can easily cut their losses and her district will surely vote to send another R to the House.

Um, wow. That’s worse than whatever I was expecting when I wandered in. She should not be in Congress after what appears to be credible threat, not just ranting. At the very least, She should not be on the Ed committee / a stakeholder in ed policy!

I mean, I worked in one district where there was a huge uproar when we used red solo cups at a staff end of the year ice cream party for root beer floats so...
