I know mattresses have been discussed and I read through a few of the previous threads, but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with lightweight kids sleeping on a memory foam mattress that they found comfortable?
My almost 10 year old dd needs a new mattress. She weighs about 55 lbs. She wants a really squishy mattress that she sinks in, and a lot of the review sites recommend most of the 'main' brands for people between 130-230 lbs.
We got my kids each foam toppers. Did the trick for WAY less than a new mattress.
I'd do that, if it were me! I just bought this 2" topper for my camper because the bed is so hard, and I have rarely had such a luxurious night of sleep . My kids love how "squishy" the foam is, it seems to endlessly fascinate them.

So her mattress is only 5 years old, but it's a traditional spring mattress, and we did get her a good foam topper about 2 years ago, and it helped, but her mattress is still terrible. So I figure I need to get her a much better mattress this time!
I got both of my kids this mattress, and they both love it. My FIL slept on one of them last weekend and raved about how comfortable it was. The price drops all the time, I just watched it for a while.

I'm glad you like this one. My bff recently researched a bunch and was ready to buy this one, but her husband (who sleeps in the bed with the kid sometimes) wanted a hybrid so they went with something else. But glad to hear an IRL review that it's good.
My DS(5) has had a Leesa twin mattress for 1.5 years now. It's cooling foam and memory foam. H and I have had a Leesa queen mattress for 5.5 years now. We got DS the same brand as us because we love ours so much.
