My dad had a whole book of these from the 80s or maybe even 70s. The only one I remember is eleceleration. It's where you repeatedly push the up or down buttons while waiting for an elevator thinking that will make it go faster. The corollary is doing the same at a walk signal, but I don't think there was a word for that.
