I’ll wear it with no hesitation when required, otherwise I’m not wearing a mask, indoors or outdoors. I love seeing people’s faces and smiles, I really missed that!

Daycare stopped requiring masks if you are vaccinated, so I stopped wearing it coming in. But I’m there for less than 5 minutes and stay away from people (even pre Covid lol).
Grocery stores are loosening restrictions, but I’m not comfortable going maskless for that long around so many people.
We still have to wear them at work even though the majority in my department are vaccinated and there are no plans to lift the mask rule any time soon.

We're still in our second wave despite good vaccination rates (and going into winter, not summer), but to answer the intent of the question I said sometimes.
FI has been more cautious/anxious than I have throughout, plus we have a new baby, so right now we are still double masking even on walks outside because it makes FI feel comfortable. If left to my own devices I'd just be using one mask right now and would be ok mask-less for walks once allowed. I'll definitely still wear them for a while for crowded inside stuff.
I’ll carry one and put it on if others have it on to make them feel comfortable I suppose. Right now that’s what I do, as our outdoor mask mandate has been lifted. I don’t wear it always but I carry it and if I see another person coming and they gave one on I put it on assuming they are still more nervous or not able to be vaccinated yet or something. We still wear masks inside for everything.
Philly just dropped its outdoor mask mandate and almost no one is wearing it waking around the city now- it feels amazing. I’ll continue wearing one in stores and where it’s required, but I’m not doing it outside anymore at all.
I also want to start weaning my son off it. His anxiety has definitely gone up during this whole thing and he was wanting to keep his mask on while we were hiking solo in the mountains- even in situations where he’s safe he still doesn’t feel comfortable. It’s going to be a long road for him and I’m so ready for the vaccine to come out for the under 12 crew.
I was at the Phillies game on Friday night and it was definitely shocking at how many people were maskless. But I got used to it after a while. It was nice to not have it on since it was so hot.
spindle92 , I’m really sorry that you were wrongfully judged. This whole thing just sucks and I hope you are able to feel comfortable again soon.
Thank you.
I had my very first indoor retaurant experience in over a year on friday and it was petrifying. I did get a couple dirty looks when I had to walk to the restroom but other than that, there were no comments that I heard. That was a HUGE first step for me but Im still not ready to run around town yet.

I answered this earlier this week before going many places since the mask mandate here lifted. Now I’ve been to a handful of stores. A couple are still requiring masks no matter what. The others that lifted the requirement for vaxxed people- still 95% of folks in the store were masked so I put mine on as well.
We have 38% of people in our county fully vaxxed and I will probably start wearing mine less indoors when that number is 50 and over.
We did go to two street fairs and a baseball game yesterday (since my last post our bball stadium said no masks for vaxxed people) and I did not wear a mask to any of those scenarios. Hardly anyone else had one on either.

With a small group of people I know are vaccinated: no. I went to the first get together with some friends yesterday. Everyone (except twin babies) was vaccinated. We still stayed outside the whole time but no one wore a mask.
At places where I don’t know everyone and don’t know their vaccine status, like the grocery store, or even outdoors shopping for flowers at Lowe’s, etc, yes I wear a mask and plan to for the foreseeable future.
I ate indoors last weekend at a restaurant (patio was closed because it was raining) and felt very uncomfortable. I’m not eating out indoors again for quite a while.
I know someone who died of covid yesterday. I wish this was over, but it isn’t.
We spent the weekend at the beach in GA and stayed at a hotel. 90% of people were maskless - and you know there aren’t 90% of people vaccinated. What kind of surprised me was that kids weren’t even masked indoors. Ours masked and I mostly did too inside - mostly bc I wore one in the elevators and it was just easier to keep it on.

Our school board (north Florida so essentially South Georgia) made masks optional mid-May so all churches and businesses did too. Last week, about 50% of kids were wearing masks at church. This week it was three kids (including my two). We will be back to online services and my kids will be back to being home. I feel like I am failing them (they miss their friends since we did virtual school) but I also feel like I have to instill in them civic responsibility/not falling for peer pressure/scientific reasoning/standing up for people who can’t.
This week, my state dropped the mask mandate for vaccinated people + our vaccination numbers are good + our community spread is low. So, very suddenly I found myself at an in-person meeting at work without a mask and the next day with friends (OMG it’s been a year!) at a busy restaurant with 95% folks not wearing masks including servers. It’s really weird. (It was mixed outdoor space tho.)
My friend chatted with the server. A very nice woman who said she was vaccinated at college and it was her 2nd day working tables without a mask.
It seems quick. I don’t think everyone without a mask is fully vaccinated (in public - my friend are 💯) But maybe I am cynical.
Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Took DD to a store to try something on when I thought it wouldn’t be busy and there were little kids without masks. My anxiety is not in a good place over this. DD said she heard the salespeople ask the parents where their masks were... “we left them in the car”.
