Um this is confusing and you can find many different definitions of telework out there.
Uh ok? Do you feel better now?
I explained above.
No, I don’t feel better now. Just can totally understand how someone could make that assumption. In this weird world we live in now where more and more people are working remote and in all different other types of situations (hybrid etc.) it’s probably best to be overly clear with candidates what the expectations are.
The teen post has me wandering around in my head down memory lane. I miss being a teen with nothing to worry about.
omg that post had me remembering what an absolute shit I was as a teenager, and terrified of what I have coming. I mean it was also fun. But as a mother now 😬
Same! I am in the thick of it and now realize how much my parents must have worried about me.
My H got his Pfizer booster last night. He had no reaction to the first two, but today he said he’s incredibly tired and he’s actually leaving work early. It seems weird he’d have no reaction to the others but did for this one. I hope he isn’t actually sick. (See also: my anxiety is out of control) lol
My Pfizer booster kicked my damn ass. The first two I had no problems. With the booster, I was down for days and then was fine by the 3rd/4th day.
This was me too - I’m a bit relieved to hear I’m not alone! The first two were not too bad - but the booster was pretty rough. I’m glad I was off from work so I could rest afterwards!

My county’ school board just made masks optional. “Cases are down so we aren’t requiring masks”. Cases are down BECAUSE YOU FUCKING REQUIRED MASKS. Jesus. 🤦🏻♀️
Even if I can get my kids scheduled for a shot the day they’re released, it’s still gonna be like 5 weeks before they’re fully vaccinated and protected. Ugh. Stupid Florida.

Sleepless in Seattle, especially the last 15-20 minutes, is a masterpiece. I will not hear any arguments. Good day.
I feel this way about Shawshank Redemption. Some of it is so horrible, but man, those last 15-20 minutes...it's everything you want that movie to be in the end.

Oh I love everything about The Shawshank Redemption lol.
Our dog sitter, J, came and took Stella to daycare today just because she wanted to. But then awhile after she got home, I realized she had gotten bitten my poor baby girl. J said that another dog rushed her right away and she yelped (pause for my sobbing), but when she checked her she didn’t see anything. I believe her, she really loves Stella. But I feel so bad. I originally tried to wipe it because she kept licking and I thought she had something on her. But then she growled and I realized it was an injury. She was so good letting me put Neosporin on it. J says all dogs have their shots and so does Stella so she should be fine.

At least you had a mask mandate to begin with! We haven’t had a mask mandate in our school district (also FL) all year…even when my H had HALF of his class out.

I know, it’s so sad that our kids and staff aren’t entitled to the most basic safety measures. And that lie they peddle about extra cleaning measures. Yeah, I know nobody is cleaning extra, like ever.
And add to that the principal of Wesley’s school is an absolute moron. Sigh.

Frank had a big ole bite on his neck from daycare last week. That’s never happened before! I thought something was stuck in his fur and tried to get it out—-turns out it was a scab. Poor frank with a stupid mom. Lol.

DS1 has a pretty heavy plastic crown with fake jewels as part of his costume and it came on a headband, which was just falling right off his head. I finally decided I might be able to solve the problem by sewing it to his wig. Worked like a charm! I was pretty concerned this was going to ruin his costume, so I’m really glad it worked. You can’t even tell how it’s attached now either. Yay!
