None of the crazies running for school board won. I’m so relieved.
all of them did here. One by 32 votes
Ugh I’m sorry. They all won in our neighboring district, too. FB is very interesting today. I will say our district did an amazing job getting people out to vote. It was four times higher than normal.
I forgot that we have minority (party) representation rules so even though the R candidates each had more than 1000 votes less than the D with the lowest vote count, two still won spots on the BoE.
I was an election judge all day. I’m in minneapolis, we had good turn out. Our charter amendments are decided, but mayor and a few council people are still not announced. We have rank choice voting, so it may be a bit.
They moved my usual ballot box. The new one was just a couple of blocks away. There was a constant stream of people while I parked and dropped off my ballot so I hope that's a good sign for turnout. I live in a very blue area.
I dropped mine off at 5:45pm (lol) and there was a steady stream over here too. Pretty happy with most of the results. I liked two of the SB candidates, so DH voted for one and I took the other.

They started reporting results around 8:30pm last night, and have not updated anything since! So still waiting to hear who will be the new Seattle mayor (as well as city attorney and some city/council council and school board positions). We're all mail-in, but I can't believe that what they've reported so far are results from all the ballots that were dropped off at ballot boxes.
ETA: Unless only 130,000 people voted for Seattle mayor which I certainly hope not!

I usually drop my ballot off near you. It was so great to see everyone voting. Previous years I haven't seen many others voting, even after work.
