Oh, good! DS1's teacher recommended it for number recognition. Seems pretty simple in that regard, but it sounded like it could be a fun game and it will definitely be good for DS2's number recognition.

I might suggest some Yahtzee type shaker cups, since you’re boys have smaller hands. Otherwise, it’s super fun!
I just ordered Muppet Babies finger puppets from Etsy for DS. I may also get him some new bath toys.
I found a cute kid's book at the grocery store for DD. It highlights a less common Disney character that stars in my made up stories for her. I think I will also buy DD the UNO card game this year.
I was thinking if I should get them both those little Nuimo things from Disney.
Lego dots bracelets, a blind bag thing like the tiny Mario Lego bags or a small transformer car, candy - MIL does tic tacs, which are kind of fun, or a pez dispenser.
This year I got my kids back scratchers. H rolled his eyes so hard but I predict my kids are going to loooooove them.
- A couple of disney pins each, for their park lanyards - McDonalds or Jamba gift cards (small, like $5 or $10) - LEGO figure keychain for their backpacks - Disney parks uno - New version of Eye Found It - Sunglasses - Star Wars socks - Masking tape, several colors (they use this to make roads on the carpet, “projects” with cardboard, etc)

Pop it, fidget toys, Nintendo gift card, chocolate, legos
I like to do small $5 gift cards to the places he likes to eat such as Red Robin, Cheesecake Factory and Olive Garden. This way he knows we are going on a special outing.
For my outdoorsy kid, I had bought a single box from a camping/outdoor subscription box on sale. So, it’s most of the items from that, candy, gum, fun socks
For my younger kid, some teas in fun flavors (birthday cake, chocolate chip cookies), candy, gum, fun socks, mini flashlight from the kit I bought kiddo #1, and those individual container of fruit loops

5 and 7, they’re getting the same things:
Wooden yo-yo Wooden top Bic crayons Deck of cards 2 minifig blind bags And this Bug micro flashlight that gets great review and looks like a fun novel gift for all ages, if anyone needs one.
I also bought Tenzi becuase the board rec’d it! But it won’t be in the stocking.
Pop it's, a Switch game, small bobblehead, magnetic putty, Instax Film, scrunchies, tie dye Addidas socks, luggage tags, pop socket, and Nerds rope if I can find it (it's her favorite).
cjcouple, I'm struggling this year, too! I don't have many ideas at all for DD and neither does she.
Well I just found the pile of stuff that was in DS’s stocking last year Lol. He is not into any little things that aren’t football cards (so hard to find).
DS (13)- some snacks he might eat, gift cards, Marvel Lego blind bag, football cards if I find some and maybe pj pants or a t-shirt to fill it up, DD (11)- lip gloss, face masks, candy, gift cards, nail polish. She likes everything so I could figure this out at the last second.

My kids are getting fidget things. They really like some ASMR things that connect and have all kinds of noise/texture things, and I ordered a holiday pack of random fidgets from Amazon. If any fit in our tiny advent calendar drawers, I will put some in there too instead of candy.
DS is almost 11 so books, food and PJ pants. Oh! And he's super into Loony Tunes, so I got some Lego Minifigures before they were discontinued. Those are the only toys he's getting this year; everything else is Switch or board games/art supplies.

Oh there are superhero bath bombs D loves, so those, socks, candy, pencil sharpener, erasers, these little amibo things for the Switch, underwear, toothpaste
isabel I Google Tenzi, and it looks like something D would like. Is it easy to play?
I’ve never played it, but based on what I’ve read, you basically just roll your 10 dice as fast as you can to get all the same numbers. Once you have the number you’re going for, you can leave that die, no need to reroll. But you can change your mind and try to get a different number at any time. Seems very straightforward to me.
I think from a math perspective, DS1’s teacher recommended it because it helps with fast number recognition on a die or dominos, instead of counting each dot.

I just looked at Tenzi, and it looks like the game comes in various "sizes" (varying numbers of dice). Which one do you recommend? What's the standard size?
My 8 year old is getting aaaaaaalllllll the pop its. She's obsessed.
I'm getting a variety back of various fidgets, and they'll both get some of those.
We may do Roblox gift cards. And/or Minecraft, if Minecraft has things you buy? I need to ask my 12 year old. My kids have just started playing it.
We always do various candies/chocolates, fancy toiletries, and hair stuff like scrunchies. Probably some stuff from Lush for my 12 year old.
I want to get DD1 a subscription to National Geographic -- I may roll up one of the magazines and put it in her stocking.

Can you tell me about the outdoor subscription box? I'm sure the sale is over, but maybe I can use it for inspiration!
