No evidence of fever or other side effects. Neither said anything to me to make me think they felt anything other than usual.
I did, however, leave CVS with two small stuffed animals, then bought Mod Pizza for lunch and and went to a local place for ice cream sandwiches after.

DS (8) - sore arm the night of. Woke up the next day feeling fine. 5 days later had all the classic side effects of the Covid vaccine for about 12 hours then felt fine again. Tested negative for Covid. I have no idea if this was a fluke or vaccine related.

15 year old boy got his second dose in June. Played golf the next day. Was a little tired.
7 year old boy got his first dose 11/4. Sore arm that night and slept a bit longer in his bed before coming in and talking to me that night (does that count as a side effect or a happy after effect?). His second dose is next week.
Both of them had more of a sore arm after the flu shot.
11 year old daughter had a sore arm and was more tired than usual the next day, but fine on day two (other than lingering soreness at her injection site).
7 year old son just had a sore arm. He was so excited to tell all the kids at school about how he got his first covid vaccine shot. It was adorable.
They always get sore arms with any vaccine though.
7yo F - Complained of a sore arm for maybe 15 minutes and then not only never mentioned it again, but even said no when I asked that night. Woohoo! I'm cautiously optimistic for #2. She was EXTREMELY anxious and made a huge fuss just before and during the shot, and I'd love to have a smoother go of it next time. If she'd had bad side effects, my goose would be cooked, but now I have hope.
9yo boy, Pfizer, had a sore arm the next day 11yo girl, Pfizer, arm was fine (played volleyball that night so probably worked it around really good), but said she felt “blah” the next day.
They were off school the Friday/day after so it worked out well for us.

9Y DD got her shot at 4PM on Nov 6. At around 10 PM she said her arm was sore and she couldn’t sleep, so I gave her Tylenol. The next day she was grumpy, but that may be because she stayed up too late. Her arm hurt a lot worse for her flu shot this year.
5 and 9 year old boys. Pfizer last week at 7 pm. 9 year old “complained” of a sore arm the next morning and afternoon in passing but refused Tylenol. No complaints from the 5 year old.

My 7 yr old niece (if I may) Pfizer first dose -had a sore arm and a headache later that afternoon and into the evening. My sis did not give her anything and she was fine
I have two 17 year old boys. They've had both doses of Pfizer. No side effects besides sore arm. I was worried about myocarditis because one of my boys was born with a heart defect. It was repaired when he was an infant but the fear of another heart issue is always in the back of my mind. That kept me from having them get it right away.
