Our school district has HS starting first, then elementary, then middle school (and we have 2 middle schools, a 5th/6th and a 7th/8th, so the 5th/6th starts about 20 minutes before the 7th/8th one does). Ds got super lucky that we lived 5 min. away from the 5th/6th middle school both years that he went there, so he was the last stop and his bus came at 8:10 when school started at 8:15. And now we moved and we live about 10 min. away from the 7th/8th middle school and his bus comes at 8:15 for school to start at 8:45.
Next year when dd goes to 5th, her bus will come right at 8:00. The elementary bus comes at 7:30ish I think (I have to drive her this year due to the move).
The school DD is assigned to next year the bus would pick up at 8:40 for a 9:10 start but doesn't drop off until 4:30, school gets out at 3:30.
We are trying to transfer to another school which is K-8 instead of 6-8. I would drop her off at grandmas to catch the bus 7:30 school starts at 8:15 or I could just adjust my schedule to drop her off at school. Bus back to Grandma's house would be about 2:40 and I think school gets out at 2:30. Grandma's house is in the bussing district for this K-8 school we are trying to get in.

In our district, elementary school starts first at 8, high school at 8:40, and middle school starts at 9. Prior to this year, high school started first at 7:30.

Mine doesn't ride a bus but if she did it would probably be after 8 because school starts at 850. In elementary when she got special transportation her pick up times ranged from 645-715.

My district has no middle school, only prk-6th elementary and a 7-12 jnr/snr high. Most buses for the jnr/sr HS runs between 7-7:30, unless you live on the mountain, then it starts at 6:40. The jnr/sr HS starts at 7:45, breakfast starts at 7:30. I'm considering another option for 6-12 that has a later start and longer day.

7:20 for a 7:30am start for 6-12. All our bus routes we are the last ones on and first off so the least amount of kids are on the longest. My kids would get on at 8:20 for 8:40 and 9am starts for k-5.
MS bus comes around 8am. No idea on start time because DD is still in ES (her bus comes at 7:20 and school starts at 7:50... for now. Next year it's earlier.)

Our district doesn’t have buses, but middle school starts at 8:05, which I think is way too early. My kids can leave at 8:03 and walk over because we live right across the street.
The HS starts at 7:30, also no busing available for us (others have it, though).
Two years ago, the district switched up the schedules, so the elementary school begins at 7:50 now, and the middle/high school begins at 8:35. We are very close to the elementary school, and that bus is here at 7:30. I don't have an older student yet, but I'm pretty sure that bus comes at about 8:15.

6:16 I think. Something like that. It’s ridiculous. We live 10 mins from school and school starts at 7:30. I refuse to make dd ride the bus. She can get almost a full extra hour of sleep by us driving her. We leave the house around 7:10. Driving here is a bit of a pain but I just don’t think a middle schooler (or any students) should have to wake up before 6am to catch a bus.
This is her 2nd year in junior high and we have one more year. Last year was actually a little earlier. I’m desperately hoping the HS bus will be a little later. But I may have to continue driving her until she can drive herself. It’s so frustrating but it’s just way too early and it’s just wasting time because it’s not like school starts that early. It’s just partly a long bus ride (she must be one of first stops) and partly sitting around school doing nothing before it actually starts. We have bussing shortage so it means the scheduling sucks to make all the bus runs happen.
The bus arrives at 7:21 for a 7:50 start we live around 8 mins from the school but are one of the first stops. It is way to early for my ds. Meanwhile my elementary aged kid leaves over an hour later to walk in for a 9 am start.

Middle school starts at 9:05 and dismissal is 4. Bus pick up will be about 8:30 and drop off about 4:30.
High school starts at 8:25 and dismissal is 3:17. Bus pick up is about 7:30 and drop off around 3:45. Elementary school has 2 different start times. 9 out of 11 schools start at 7:55, dismissal at 2:20. The other two start at 8:40, dismissal at 3:05.
A few years ago our district switched start times and made elementary earliest. Elementary starts at 8:00, high school starts at 8:20, middle school starts at 8:45.

Middle school starts at 9, and our bus picks up at 8:30. The middle school bus stop is conveniently in front of our driveway, so we will be using it next year.
MS bus is around 7:50-8am. Not sure on start times. I think all the buses are regularly late reporting to school.
Between transportation issues and traffic patterns, the entrance to the MS/HS complex is a mess from about 6:50am to after 8am.
ETA: well that doesn't make sense, I just looked online and MS starts at 8:05, so maybe the bus comes earlier? Pretty sure it doesn't, but I'll have to keep an ear out to see. I wonder if the kids are just late everyday? That would have driven me nuts as a student, I prefer to be early.
af1212, junior high is 8:44-4:06 here. It's a very long day.
Next year hours change slightly to 9:00-4:15. Even worse. The busses are the issue. There just aren't enough of them so the elementary, junior high, and high school start times are very spread out (50 minutes--7:15 HS, 8:10 ES, 9:00 JH).
