I never thought you would have quit! I'm impressed.
I quit when Derek died. I tried to hang on but couldn't
I also quit The Resident when *you know who* dies.. That show was terrible since season 2.
I quit The Resident after S2. I just couldn’t take any more scenes of Czuchry running through the hospital. Also, that buck wild zero gravity thing.
I quit after she got shot. I love Matt Czuchry from both Gilmore girls and the good wife, and I absolutely adore Emily Vancamp. So I pushed through, but it was so painful. I read spoilers and never really felt like catching up.
Sunk cost fallacy is correct with Grey’s, last week’s episode was so odd.
I’m kind of sad they made the letter to make Ellis more terrible, but seriously, Meredith come get your damn kids.
How many have quit only to restart thinking "maybe enough time has passed it won't be bad anymore"? My 3rd (4th?) time seems to have stuck. Thankfully when I fell off the wagon, no benders, police, or hospitals were involved!
For a long time Gunsmoke held the longest running title, but a good portion of that was as a radio show. I think currently it's SVU. Greys is 4? 5? years behind that? Wasn't greys a midseason start? If you include UK, I know Dr Who has been on forever. I know of another couple shows (eastenders and coronation street), but I think they're technically soap operas which is a whole 'nother ball game, although the line between a ridiculous soap and greys is very fuzzy.
Fellow Greysaholic checking in. I don't know why I watch anymore either. The episode was *so* bad. I couldn't remember who the niece is or why we care or why she's Nick's responsibility. They kept referencing her mom's issues and I'm like I have no idea what you are talking about. I fast forwarded through a lot of the show, anything with Amelia and Jo. I just don't care about them anymore. I need to quit. But there is so little else to watch on TV...
The Maggie storyline was weird too. It was so lame that made Ellis seem shittier but she threw in the line about how she wished she'd meet Meredith. Why, so Mer can use her as perpetual childcare? The sticky sweetness of it was too much especially given Mer is never home anymore!!!
Also, do Winston and Maggie live with Mer? They are 2 married, wealthy surgeons. I think they can afford their own place!

I recently started watching the resident again (missed zero gravity. wtf?!). I think during the olympics since my normal shows weren't airing. It's actually somewhat decent. Then again, I also watch chicago med, so clearly I have no taste. But I apparently draw the line at grey's.
In early seasons a group of us, men and women, would get together for dinner, wine tasting, and grey's. How things have changed.
