Hi! I haven’t been wearing much in the way of makeup recently, and all my stuff is going bad. Lucy is graduating 8th grade in a few weeks and I want to get some things since there will be pictures
I need- Waterproof mascara Tinted moisturizer Blush
And anything else you can rave about. I have combination skin, am super fair with hazel eyes and light brown hair.
Laura Mercier blush formula and tinted moisturizers are fantastic. Belleni is a great color. I've been using NARS tinted moisturizer and really love it. Seems to give slightly more coverage.
I love the blush and foundation - very light and sits well on my 39 year old skin. They also blend very easy and are mid-point price range between drugstore and high end.
I really like the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint.. light weight, SPF 40, and doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup. Also their multistick for blush and lips is awesome.
I'm currently using Urban Decay Hydromania Tinted Glow. It's similar to a tinted moisturizer. I'm pretty fair and often need the lightest color offered; in this I'm in 03. This has no sunscreen, btw.
I use -bareMinerals Complexion Rescue -Clinique High Impact mascara but not waterproof. Despite the name, I don’t think it gives dramatic lashes but rather something suitable for everyday wear. -Stila Convetible Pot in Lilium.

I'm a huge fan of all Tarte mascara. My favorite is Lights, Camera, Lashes. I typically don't wear waterproof mascara, but I've worn the waterproof version of this (called Lights, Camera, Splashes) and liked it.
My go to blush is Nars Orgasm. I like the powder and the stick. It's a good nearly universally flattering color.
I don't typically wear tinted moisturizer, so I can't help there.
I second the Nars tinted moisturizer rec. I also like that it has spf in it.
I can’t wear waterproof mascara because every brand I’ve ever tried smudges under my eyes. 😕
Blush rec would be Nars orgasm or MAC love joy (a little goes a looooong way with this one, I’ve legitimately had mine for years. It’s also nowhere near as dark as it looks in some pictures!)
The Tarte maracuja tinted hydrator is my favorite. It's lightweight and is just enough coverage to smooth out my complexion without looking like foundation. I also like the Bare Minerals complexion rescue, but the Tarte is my favorite.
Blush I've been using a sample/free gift I got from Benefit. It's okay, but nothing to rave about. I've heard good things about the Milani baked blush, but keep forgetting to look for it when I go to Ulta.
I don't use waterproof mascara, so no help there. The covergirl lash blast (orange tube) is my holy grail mascara and they do make it in a wp formula, but I can't give a review.
Oh, yes, technically the Clinique mascara isn't waterproof, but I live in a very humid climate that gets very hot in the summer, and this mascara is one of the two that I've found that doesn't run (Boots No 7 is the other one that's really good, but it's getting harder to find and I found I prefer the Clinique formula more).

Yeah I need waterproof just bc I’m probably going to cry at the graduation! But non smudging might be ok. I haven’t done waterproof since I stopped wearing contacts- my eyes teared a lot with them in.
Disclaimer: I probably wear makeup ten times a year. And it’s some combination of these three items.
I love gimme brow and precisely my brow. I use those most days, since my brows are so light. I also have a scar, and don’t want to look like vanilla ice so I fill it in haha
Hourglass makes my favorite mascaras. It can withstand even gently splashing from being with my kids in the pool but it’s not waterproof so easy to remove.
Favorite blushes are Laura Mercier - the color ginger in the pressed powder and the color Provence in their new blush liquid.

Oh...that makes sense! I don't think I've cried with it on, just sweat a lot so I'm not sure. But living in Texas, most mascara is smudged and running just walking outside into the humid heat, and these are smudge proof, so might work?
My holy grail for mascara is L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise. It's the only one that I have found to last 12+ hours, still look great yet is easy to take off.
If you don’t wear makeup much, I wouldn’t spend on a higher end mascara because it doesn’t keep for a long time. L’Oréal voluminous is a very good waterproof option that’s reasonably priced.
The Clinique that someone mentioned earlier is also good, but in my experience does not stand up to tears.
I like buying mini blush samplers because I like to have a variety of colors and I don't need a full size blush. I've gotten samplers from Benefit and Tarte. www.ulta.com/p/cheektopia-mini-blush-bronzer-value-set-pimprod2027008?sku=2582460&cmpid=PS_Non!google!Product_Listing_Ads&cagpspn=pla&CATCI=pla-301757449427&CAAGID=24669606870&CAWELAID=330000200002798286&CATARGETID=330000200001674807&CADevice=m&gclid=Cj0KCQjwnNyUBhCZARIsAI9AYlHiqCAtIgLtqEzO2r_NORUUXTxHrif0SDZhy0lUiqVBM9vVjeuqPmkaApoVEALw_wcB
I like Too Faced Better Than Sex waterproof mascara. Cover Girl Lash Blast Volume waterproof is my second favorite.
Currently using Fenty Eaze Drops Blurring Skin Tint. Not a tinted moisturizer, since it's not moisturizing, but I just put it over whatever moisturizer and sunscreen I am currently using.
I have some Benefit mini blushes that are taking forever to to go through, they last a LONG time. Dallas is my favorite color for my skin tone (light in winter to light-medium in summer, neutral to cool).
I really like the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint.. light weight, SPF 40, and doesn't feel like I'm wearing makeup. Also their multistick for blush and lips is awesome.
Ditto this. I am considering trying their foundation for a little more coverage.
They do an excellent job matching you to their colors with a selfie.
I'm currently using Urban Decay Hydromania Tinted Glow. It's similar to a tinted moisturizer. I'm pretty fair and often need the lightest color offered; in this I'm in 03. This has no sunscreen, btw.
I don't wear waterproof unless I'm on vacation, so no recs.
I like the NARS Orgasm in the stick.
I also love this Urban Decay stuff. I have a little rosacea on my cheeks and this blends SO well and I use just a little. It doesn’t feel like I’m wearing much of anything. I use a moisturizer underneath and setting spray with SPF.
I’ve been wearing the Nars tinted moisturizer for years and it doesn’t cover my redness as much but feels heavier, probably since I have to use so much more.
I like Tarte Amazonian clay blush and Buxom lash volumizing mascara.
