FWIW, my goal weight is still higher than what most of you would choose. Lol. I’m 5ft 6in, and am shooting for 165-170 range, so not unreasonable or unrealistic at all, I don’t think.
Why would you say that? Many people are that weight and it’s totally fine and people are ok with that. I haven’t weighed myself in awhile but I’m 5’3” and think I’m around that weight and "choose" it and am very happy with my strong body. People should not be so hard on themselves!
Because people are judgy, and I need to work on not projecting that to myself? I truly do think it’s a fine weight range, even though that still puts me as “overweight” on all charts.

BMI is a bullshit measurement, so def wouldn’t go by that. Your weight is no one else’s business, so try not to let any judgement get to you!

I know. And thank you for the kind words.
Ultimately, I feel better around 170-180. Movement was easier, etc. Any less was too hard to maintain even when I was 30 and playing a lot of soccer. I’m 47 now, so I’m really not up for that anymore. Haha
I do have some questions. I’ve lost 58 pounds now, and my doc is starting to lower my dose (likely over several months, similar to my increases) to get me to my maintenance dosing. I still want to lose 60+ pounds.
Does anyone have experience with this part? Should I push to stay at a higher dose, or ask for a slower decrease timeline? I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have lost this much, but with so far to go to be considered in a “healthy weight range” I have some concerns.

I'm on ozempic, but basically I built up to a certain dose and I've stayed on that same dose. I got down to the weight that I was at for most of my life and I've just kind of hovered around that range. So I haven't had to reduce my dose to maintain the plateau. But it might be different on different meds.
