Hey! It was really fun actually. He's a super awesome guy, really very attractive, we had SO much in common and conversation flowed really well. No awkward moments at all. We started with drinks, then had dinner and finished the night with some skee ball at a bar next door to the dinner place.
Sadly and for inexplicable reasons, I feel NO chemistry with him at all. But it was a good time!

well that sounds like a good date as far as online dates go! Too bad there's no chemistry.
Yea I'm not really that bummed about the no chemistry thing. I just don't think I should be dating right now at all. I'm pretty sure I'm still not over the dude enough for this. But it was a lot more fun and way less nerve wracking than I thought it would be. I do think I'll stick to offline dating moving forward though.

At least you tried and now you know for sure if online dating was for you or not. I don't think I could do online dating... I need the slower pace for myself.
Yay for it going well! That's why I logged in right now...I was dying to know!
So...are you going to maybe do a date #2 if he suggests? Or are you certain no chemistry.
At least it got ya out there and it wasn't a bad experience! What did you end up wearing?
If he asks I think I'd just be honest and say I'd love to hang out but I'm not feeling the chemistry. He mentioned he's met some friends through the online dating process so I think he'd be open to it. Also I'm fairly certain he didn't feel any chemistry either.
I wore skinny jeans with brown boots, a white fitted T and a green silk jacket (it's super casual).

Sounds like a positive introduction back to dating that won't leave you jaded when you determine you are ready to return. And guy friends are good too.
