Yeah this seems to be the new trend. I see these creamy, kind of matte colors all the time now. I was looking at a new Toyotas and the colors suck. Pretty much black, white, silver, maybe red and then a few matte colors that are more expensive. I hate them!

Yeah, we are holding out for the new Sequoia but I'm bummed about the color options.
I tend to like silver and grey cars (my current car is a very dark grey that's almost black it's so dark), but I agree that the linked car looks like it's only been primed.

I kind of like it! I wonder how it holds up to scratches and stuff. My last car was dark grey and it was AWFUL with scratches. They all showed. My current car is white and I love it. White tends to hide things best IMO. Black is bad too.

I have a Rav in Blueprint- it’s a dark metallic blue. I love it!
Ooh I like that! My current 2009 RAV4 is a dark green/blue called Emerald Pearl or something. I love it! They don’t make this color anymore. I had a red Corolla that I loved before that but I don’t like red as much on SUVs.

I'm meh on that. But we were in the car the other day and dd spotted a car that was an iridescent silver/blue/purple that shimmered and like color changed as the sun moved across it and it was the most stunning thing we had ever seen. We were both mesmerized.
I was just having this exact thought and I know the color you mean. I’m seeing it alot lately so it must be popular but I do not like it. I think I like the ?iridescence? (but idk if that’s the right word) I’d metallic paints. I don’t like that’s shiny but not sparkly colors, and I also don’t like matte paint colors, either, and that seems to be rising in popularity, too.

I'm SO OVER the bland color trend.
Gray everywhere inside houses. The pillow pops of color aren't enough for me. It makes me sad to look at. ALLLLL the colors in the world to pick from, and people pick gray. There, I said it.
I painted my daughter's bathroom gray (per her request), and I hate it. When she moves out, for college in 4 years, that's getting repainted STAT. Other daughter's bathroom is a soft pink with gold fixtures (holler out to the 90's brass trimmed shower door that I wasn't replacing, and black and white tile), and it looks beautiful.
Obviously I don't like the black/white/gray car trend either. I drive a blue Ascent, and my next car is going to be red. The brown putty color cars are atrocious, IMO. Gray/blue ones are a little better, but I still don't love them. Matte cars look like someone spray painted them in their garage in a DIY paint job situation.

Gray everything in interior design is absolutely tragic.
I love small cars. But I like to drive loud (color) cars. Grays are too close to asphalt and hid on rainy, foggy days. Current car is bright blue. It’s a Lexus, which is know for its 5 shades of gray, 4 shades of black, and 3 shades of white. It was a pain to find.
Also, not a fan of the flat paints today. I suspect since they are getting more common, I’ll come around.

As someone who was house hunting in 2020/2021, I started calling it CovidCore. I’m convinced in 5 years we will look at all those gray everything’s and think “that’s so 2020, ain’t no one want to be reminded of that.”
I like it a lot more than I expected based on your description.
I do enjoy the occasional bright orange car, but for myself I like silver because it is practical and inoffensive, which sums up my general style, lol. Maybe sad, but it's true.

Gray was a trend loooong before covid.
We bought our first house in 2012 and used a lot of gray in the updates we did; it was very HGTV-inspired.
But I also happen to love the color gray, especially blue-ish grays like that picture. By the time we bought our current house (purchased in 2016), we were like, gray is out, let’s do anything BUT gray, but now I have gray envy ha.

I hated this about 6-8 years ago when the car I had at the time was released in this color! I thought it looked so odd and concrete-like.
And then I just bought a car with this color two months ago (cue blushing emoji). I don’t know why it has grown on me, but somehow it did. Now it is becoming too popular though, so I might regret my decision in a year or two. But, all the other color options were also boring, so I didn’t have a good choice.
