I'm assuming their quality is just as poor as all the other sites selling cheap mass-produced clothing coming from overseas and they have a horrible return policy despite what they advertise, right?
I got sucked into trying out Modlily from facebook ads for bathing suits and a tshirt this summer. The bathing suits were all horrible (the bottoms were an actual joke, but at least I wasn't expecting to wear the bottoms). But the tops had weird seams, they bunched in places they shouldn't, the straps were much different than pictured (as in were a strip of fabric sewn on instead of actual integrated straps in one case) and even on the tshirt there were quality issues like the fact that it was a striped fabric, but the hem was crooked so that the stripes went from a straight line to a not so straight line at the bottom of the shirt. And then when I tried to return everything per their own return policy, they gave me a hard time and I had to send multiple pictures and it was a huge hassle.
But it's STILL hard to find good plus-sized clothes and the ads for Shein Curve make everything look so darned cute!

Yes it’s all crap. I didn’t have issues returning though. I got a refund right away and they told me to keep the item. I gave one shirt to DD and took the rest to goodwill.

I've had pretty good experiences with Shein Curve. Especially for lingerie, t-shirts, bathing suits and dresses. You definitely need to check the description for the type of material (some things that look like cotton definitely aren't, etc.) and read the reviews. Most items have reviews with pics, which is super helpful. Sizing can be wonky but I'm an 18-20 and pretty consistently a 3xl at Shein.
I haven't had any issues with returns but honestly I usually just donate whatever doesn't work out.
I haven't had any issues with returns. You are correct that they make everything look cute! I literally returned everything, because nothing looked good on me.
I've ordered a few things. It's not super high quality but not unwearable. Honestly stuff was so cheap that I donated what I didn't like rather than deal with returns.

It’s poorly made and fast fashion. I would personally avoid buying. My SIL has purchased things and it never fits. Yet, she keeps buying. Environmentally it’s pretty terrible too. They have been rumored to destroy returns.
FTR this is my opinion. I would not be surprised if there is child labor and human trafficking in their products. Knowing what I know about manufacturing and importing they are high risk for exhibiting bad practices. The quick turn over and cheapness makes me question everything
I have gotten some great things from shein but it’s hit or miss. Returns are free and easy though. They’re actually the best for kids stuff but I’ve gotten some good work attire.
As expected, the stuff isn't super high quality, but it's decent for the price. I'm losing weight and can't really afford a whole new wardrobe every time I drop a size so I'll order just a few pieces from Shein to fill in the gaps for a few months and I've been pretty happy with the stuff that I've gotten.
As a Disney adult (feel free to shame) I have ordered half a dozen dresses from Shein curve for Disneybounds.. For a dress I'll wear at most twice and $20 they're fine. I won't shop them for everyday clothes however (see post above mine).
