What color sweater would you wear with this dress?

I am fashion illiterate. Thinking about wearing this for family photos. It hits just below my knee. I have booties in cognac, tan, black, gray ... 

DS is wearing an oatmeal sweater with blue jeans, H is wearing a navy button-down. Not sure what pants he's going to wear.

Yes, I was thinking something in that family, could kind of match the boots.

Whatever picks up the colors in the flowers on the dress...I can't really see but orange, pink, cream? I think cream sweater and cognac booties should be safe. With orange sweater it would depend on how just how orangey the cognac is.

I agree. I would go with Jean jacket and booties.

My first suggestion would be mustard yellow, but I think orange or a jean jacket would be equally as cute too.

I was going to say oatmeal but maybe not if Ds is wearing that. Alone I would say the color of the flowers - orange/wine but if Dh is wearing blue I wouldn’t necessarily want to add another color so maybe a tan or darker brown that matches the boots.

I’d choose denim, if I had something I already liked. If not, I’d choose the deepest color I could pull from the flowers. While a camel color would look cute on the hanger, it would make me look terrible.

Whatever color you choose, make sure it’s one that looks good on you. I think you have several color options that would work well.

It's called the Abby Knit Midi Dress from Nine Britton -- I got it from StitchFix Freestyle.

I would say a light denim jacket or a mustard yellow sweater. The mustard in your sweater will pair perfectly with your H's navy shirt. I don't think I'd do camel with your DS's oatmeal shirt.

This. I wouldn’t add in another color with your DS in oatmeal and H in navy, you in green. I’d focus on the cream or blue color.
