Does anyone here vlog? Need gift help

One of the people in the family we're buying for this holiday is a young woman who wants vlogging equipment - ideas she gave were a laptop (not able to afford that, unfortunately), video recorder, microphone, etc. We are also getting her an air fryer, crock pot, and some clothes (all things she requested). My budget for just the vlogging stuff, then is probably about $50.

Since she mentioned a video recorder, I'm assuming she doesn't want to record video on her cell phone, so I decided against a cell phone tripod. The really high-end mics that vloggers use are out of our budget, likely.

What about a ring light with a tri pod?

The ring light is a good idea!

For the tripod, I guess I didn't think about getting one that could be used with a video recorder. Are they pretty "one size fits all"?

I think so. I have one that clips to my desk above my monitor. I can also have it on a little stand.

I think so. I have one that clips to my desk above my monitor. I can also have it on a little stand.
