Well it's almost 2023, so we please vote on the poll about whether Book Club discussions should continue/how they should look in 2023!
I am also VERY MUCH open to any book suggestions if you do want to continue book club. Normally I pull books from the Goodreads Choice awards but I feel like those have not always been the best, unfortunately. Here's all the books we have discussed so far from 2017 to 2022: link

Thanks so much for doing this again! I'm good with 6 books a year. Gives plenty of time for lead up, and will probably lead to more participation (no judgement) as those of us who don't read as much can add the books to our list. I'll go further and recommended a Feb, April etc. schedule, so that we can get the book in Jan, and read it by end of Feb.
I haven't read "Lessons in Chemistry" yet, I hope to read that in Jan. I'd vote for that book as I think a lot of folks have read it.
If we cut it down to 6 books I suggest that we read a book every other month and start in February to give everyone time to read the first book.
Suggestions: The Light Pirate
Books that seem popular with good ratings on my TBR list: Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow West with Giraffes Remarkably Bright Creatures Notes on an Execution
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! We have 7 suggestions, but one of them isn't a book that you can get on Overdrive (not even to request your library to add it), West with Giraffes. So we'll cut that one and that now gives us exactly 6 books for 2023!
Here's the Book Club discussion schedule: Feb 22 - Notes on an Execution April 26 - Remarkably Bright Creatures June 28 - The Light Pirate August 30 - Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow October 25 - Lessons in Chemistry December 27 - My Husband
